Some odd grades there. Not sure which game he watched.

Also not surprised he was fired from his radio show with this kind of analysis.

Odd grade, but dead accurate with his evaluation of the coaching.

And Philbin who was so anti "F-Bombs" on Hard Knocks, lol...I'm no master lip reader but in the 1st half of that game yesterday he dropped about 10 F'bombs on the sideline!

I loved his fire. It seemed legit and not contrived like Sparano's!

I was going to bring this up earlier. Actually got to buy a paper today. Anyways, how does Tannehill set a rookie team record and get a C-?  While the DB's allow 60% completion rate, 324 passing yds, and 3 td's and get a B-?

It is a C+ but the way he wrote it (GRADE: C- plus) throws you off ... not that it matters. I'd have given him a B so I'm not far off but other evals are quite off from mine.

I also love the fact people are questioning throwing the ball at the end of the game. I have to wonder what game they saw as well ... lol.

Getting offended by something you see on the internet is like choosing to step in dog shite instead of walking around it.

I'm guessing RT got that grade because passing yards don't mean much when two of your turnovers directly lead to 14 points by the other team and you lose. It's inexcusable that the DB's got anything over a D-. -EK

I will need to look at the video again. I thought for the most part the O line improved.

I didn't think they were on the O line. Arizona was blitzing all day. RT still needs to learn when to throw the ball away. It's not like he didn't know what was coming. When the Cards did the same thing to Vick, I heard a lot of talking heads saying that Vick has to make better decisions under pressure- they didn't put it all on the O line. -EK

Turnover 1 - a blitzing linebacker shoots the A-gap hard and gets to Tannehill before he gets even 1 step into his drop.  As a result, Tannehill fumbles.

Turnover 2 - a defender comes up the middle (again) and smashes Tannehill as he's throwing.  The ball floats and gets picked.

I don't care if you're Tom Brady, if you get hit while you're throwing you're going to get picked.

Watch the video here:

Thanks for the breakdown. I kept looking for some screens to slow the blitz down, but the few times they tried it, it was terrible. That is a little surprising considering the Packers (Philbin) have always been one of the best at running the screen in the NFL.

I have disliked the Big O ever since the Dolphins had their first "Web Weekend".  The team brought us in, where we thought we were going to have them clamp down on us.  Instead, they were totally open and cool about it.  They treated us with respect.  It wasn't threatening and it wasn't bribery.  It was that they respected us as a form of media and they wanted to work with us to reach the community and help with charity.  I was there -- I was in the room.  Big O's spin of that story made it out like the Dolphins brought us in to threaten us so that we wouldn't spread bad info about a struggling team.

Ever since then, I knew he was a hack.

Big O???

What I don't like about Armando is the way "he serves things up." I don't expect everything to be all rosy, but he seems to go out of the way to be negative and critical. Don't we have enough of the media that does that to us? You would think that the "hometown newspaper" would have a sportswriter who is more supportive of the team. In fact, I think he bites the hand that feeds his sorry butt.

Living in AZ. and reading the main paper out of PHX. I can assure you that Armando would not last a month with the Republic. Their writers are all in for the Cards, Suns and D Backs regardless of the W-L record.
