Distance is not the problem and the ball did not hook. Carp hits a pretty straight ball. Trouble is, he misses left or barely squeaks it in. The FG he made was almost wide left.

Let me guess Carpenter missed a FG?!?!?

LOL, they will never learn.

My prediction, Carpenter will lose his job after MIA brings someone in.  I know it's easy to say that,. especially after missing ANOTHER FG, but let's face it, his nos. have sucked since his soph. season.

Read Salguero's blog from today.  The writing is on the wall.  In the NFL, 4-5 plays make the difference in a typical NFL game.  He has lost us the last 2 games. I hope another miss today doesn't come back and bite us in the arse.

F Salgureo! He is a douche and just stirs up crap. Don't waste your time.

Too many quality FG kickers unemployed to continue to put up with this. I think he is done in the head. He had one great year in 2009.

I hate to blame a kicker, but sometimes teams just need their kicker to make these things. His missed FG is gonna kill us.

That missed FG would have made it "essentially a 3 score game and wrapped it up. Instead it is now a 4 point game. It was a huge miss!!!

You know deep down it is.  Hell, Carpenter knows it is.  In that situation where the K has const. missed long FGs, you punt the ball deep in CIN territory and play DEF.  our DEF has been pretty damn good today.  I'd take my chance with that.  Fock, why cant I coach a focking NFL team?  Coaching is over-rated sometimes.
