Tony Gonzalez.  We ran a cover 2 in our years with Madison and Surtain.  Even when we had a good defense, we had a softness across the middle, where Gonzalez would kill us for multiple TDs.  ...even when the Chiefs were bad, they still had our number.

Agree, Welker has been a non factor. Even his big play was due to a missed tackle. If you want to talk N.E. then we could mention Brady or even Ben Coates. (yeah, the fins could not cover a TE then either). lol

I wouldn't say that...Welker hasn't hurt us since becoming a Pat!  He hasn't been a Wayne Cherbet, or Andre Reed but he has been a Wesley Walker.
