THE ASSCLOWN AWARD

I'll give mine to Tannehill for a rock solid performance today and the defense for stepping up big on that last drive Smiley

Tannehill and Vernon. 2 rookies

Vernon with 2 big sacks. Got hurt too and he still came back to play big

Tannehill was outstanding today. 2 TD's. No turnovers. Led the offense well when the team couldn't run the ball at all.

Tannehill and Vernon.  Tannehill throws multiple TD passes and his % is way up.  That's the improvement you're looking for.  Vernon played a most excellent game off the bench.

I'm giving mine to Tannehill and Vernon as well.  Two rookies came up big today.  Tannehill is rapidly developing into a solid quarterback and Vernon got the first two sacks of his career today, and came back and played hurt to help the defense make a final stop.

Not sure how many balls we have to give out, but,

1. Tannehill (came up big and looked like a vet against the blitz).

2. Vernon: Awesome day

3. Wake: Applied pressure all day.

4. Marlon Moore: With Hartline being covered by Finnigan, Moore stepped up

5. Bess: How can you not at least give consideration to Devon?

6. Mike Sherman: Best play calling of the year.

+1

Tannehill is avoiding throwing interceptions, which i think is huge for a rookie.

Tannehill.  He had some drops today that would have made his stats look a little better, but the key statistic is "zero turnovers".  Honorable mention to whoever called the fake punt.  The look on Fishers face told the story.

We were outplayed on both sides of the ball; but if you win the turnover battle, you give yourself a chance to win the game (although 3 missed field goals helps too).

Vernon's 2 sacks came at the best possible times and kept Zeurlein out of range.

HM to Brandon Fields.  His kicks were instrumental in keeping St. Louis backed up all day.  He and the coverage unit were a huge key to Dolphin victory.

I'll go with the Tannehill and Vernon picks.

Great win yesterday, way to go into the bye week at 3-3.

False.  Vernon was credited with half a sack coming into the game.
