are Logo tweaks,or changes effect on you Buying Dolphins Swag?

I'm also curious with Christmas shopping season...

With the Dolphins tweaking,or totally changing the logo next year,how has that effected your buying of Dolphins swag?

(This was Saturday before last) I drove my Mom to a meeting for work down in Branson,and My "Wife" met us there to hangout,keep me company.After the meeting we went to lunch,then walked the Branson landing,I stopped in the Memorabilia shop there.

There was a 46" Miami Dolphins Plaque thing for $99,I was enamored,being I rarely find anything Dolphins around here.Mom and "Wife" kept saying they'd go halves,and buy it for me as an early Christmas present.I kept saying no,I whispered,no, I can probably get it cheaper online.They kept tying to insist,but my real reason I thought about was the possible Logo change.So after I told hem no,like 7-10 times,we walked out of the store,and I explained to them...That's cool but huge,and spending $100 on something,that takes up a lot of room,and might be "out of date" in 6 months...It's not worth it...(Come to find out it was cheap,it was more expensive online)

For me, I think it depends on the product,small things,key chain coffee cup,etc...Cool I'm fine with it...A new Jersey,Real Helmet,something big like that plaque..I'd prefer not to buy...The two people that might actually buy me something Dolphins swag for Christmas now know...

For the love of my sanity, please do not use the word "Swag".

I'm not really a big person who shops for the latest Dolphins stuff. I have a couple of shirts and a hat but I prefer to hold onto the things the way they were. I wouldn't rush out to buy new gear if there's a logo change.

If the new logo is fugly, I'll most likely pick up a few shirts with the old logo. You won't be seeing me promote the new crap if they F things up. I've done it with the Marlins, I can do the same with the Dolphins. I've got no problems sporting throwbacks.

It'll have a huge effect on what I buy as far as Dolphins gear if the new logo ends up sucking.  It's a matter of record that most of the time I prefer the throwback logos and if I don't like the new one, I simply won't buy anymore.

Does knowing the Dolphins are about to change the logo,does this effect the stuff you might buy Now? ask for Christmas?

Example: Maybe you wont buy a Tannehill jersey this year,knowing the Dolphins might change the logo...

My advice.... don't buy anything now.  Wait until the new stuff comes out and buy the old logo on clearance.

Did that with Marlins gear too - got a "authentic" Ramirez jersey on clearance for $25

Some t-shirts for lik $6 a piece....

Might drop that jersey on eBay now...  its a throwback!

If I was smarter I would have kept everything in mint condition (and bought more). But alas the hat and sweatshirt that has each been washed a gazzion times is pretty worthless right now.

Wearing them is 90% of the fun. Like fine china it serves no purpose unused. Except for a couple of autographed jerseys I wear all my stuff...albeit it the good stuff only on game day and only for the game.

Agree completely. 

... but there was a pile of 10 hats each for 50 cents with the Pats old logo.  I bought one of them.  I should have bought all of them, worn one and saved the other 9.

I missunderstood too, B.   I'll change my answer. No that won't have much of an effect on it now.

I always like the older stuff better, could care less about the new logo's...they usually suck.
