Donald Trump came out yesterday and stated that he is going to make an announcement today that is going to make the entire country turn against Obama.

http://www.politico.com/news/stories/1012/82701.html

Anyone know what this mega-announcement is?  What could it possibly be?

I'm guessing he's going to say Obama is gay.

More like that Obama is his gay lover.  Evil Donald Trump kinda scares me now. Every time I think it's not possible for him to get any creepier, he just keeps on proving me wrong.

After the way Obama acted and his condescending comments in the debate the other night, does anyone really need to say anything? He displayed the maturity of a 2nd grader.

Was listening to talk radio this morning and they were talking about the election. A caller from Philly called in and said he was a member of the Teamsters union and they were all sick of Obama, but most were afraid to say anything. He went on to say that while he was a huge Obama supporter, after the 3rd debate, THAT WAS IT. He said, "I HAVE HAD ENOUGH OF THAT GUY."

ME too!

What was it that was so condescending? Was it just the bit about the navy/bayonets/horses?

The rumor is that he's going to release divorce papers that Michelle Obama filed years (like, a decade) ago.

He posted a Youtrube video.  I haven't watched it yet. Something like he will donate 5 million to charity if Obama releases a bunch of personal information.

Sounds like Trump is still barking up that "he's not a US citizen" tree. Thought they already put this to bed...  Sad.

An announcement that there is to be an announcement. Yawn. I expect little to nothing of substance.

There was an announcement as Brian just stated.  He didn't say what was in the documents but is willing to give 5 million dollars to a charity of Obama's choice to have them public.

I can't imagine what is in his past that wouldn't be worth revealing for 5 million dollars.

With that said I hate that this is involved because of the election. I would rather it had been prior to or after if it really is that big.

They said on the radio that they want him to release his full college and passport transcripts, records, and history and they would donate $5mil to a charity of Obama's choice. If indeed that info hasn't been released, I really don't understand why Obama hasn't released that info just to shut people up. Seems kind of suspicious not releasing them.  Anyhow, it seems to me that if you had $5 mil. to spend, that you could get that info rather easily.

Trump is out of line.  I expect Obama to ignore him.  Trump needs to remember he's speaking to the President. Hate him or love him, but show him respect.

I have slightly modified the above quote.  I am certain it will be seen as equally valid, though.

Please focus Spider, don't change the subject. We're talking about Donald Trump's announcement regarding Obama. His announcement has nothing to do with Romney, therefore this thread has nothing to do with Romney. Please, I know you like changing the subject and baiting people into getting off topic to deflect attention away from certain things. If you want to discuss Romney's tax returns, by all means start your own thread. Thanks, hope you are having a great day !!!

Let me be more direct:

Obama choosing not to release his college transcripts (something that Presidential candidates virtually never do) is not at all suspicious.  And most of the people who think that it is have no issue with Romney releasing only two years of tax returns (which is significantly less than the standard for Presidential candidates).

So any claims about the "suspicious" refusal to release college transcripts are naked partisanship.
