Anyone get to dress up at work today?

I've seen a few people today,not many though....I guess I'm dressed as a Sasquatch bum...My usual attire...(I didn't shave ,and I'm in a t shirt and pants/shorts)

I work from home. I went outside during lunch and paid my cell, got Subway (it was quick and right there), and stopped in to check our pool league schedule to see if we played tonight. I didn't see a single person dressed up in any of those places or in their cars.

I dressed up as Marty McFly at work today.  It's a costume I recycled from a previous year, though.

^^^ TMI rant, that will answer your Huh  -I've given up on Jeans,I don't have the build for them.I have no ass to hold them up,my back happens to meet the back of my legs and there is a crack.I wear shorts 85% when I'm not playing grown up for work, and have gone to slacks, trousers, khaki, cargo pants when I have to wear pants.. -End rant...

I've seen a few,1 fuzzy squirrel, beaver looking thing walking into the chicken factory...If it was a fox or a wolf,it would have been hilarious! The jailers/county deputies of the small town I was in earlier, were creative IMO..One guy put a sticky note with "Rick" over his name tag,Another had "Shane" and claimed to be Rick and Shane from the walking dead...

I had a dilemma like,You never ask a woman if she's pregnant,I thought the same with a costumes on Halloween. One lady was dressed in all black and had ears, and paint on her nose...Another lady was wearing a purple mini skirt with fishnets,I never got above the waist to see if it was a costume or not...  Embarrassed Grin

It seems like lot of people aren't dressed up here,Women more than men so as I've seen...

I'd say it's about 50/50 at SWA those who wore a costume to those who didn't. SWA makes a huge deal of Halloween. Several different areas of the company each create a skit where they sing and dance etc and they present them to leadership who vote on the best skit. They rented a huge tent and all the employees go to watch the skits. Several areas will decorate too and have themes and sometimes even presentations while you walk through the areas. There's candy given out everywhere you go. You can even bring your family with you to work so you'll see hundreds of kids, spouses etc just roaming the halls. Most people work about 3 or 4 hours on Halloween and just enjoy the festivities with their families or workers for the rest of the day. It's amazing. I love working for SWA, it's like no where else I have ever seen.

Here's a link to the CEO Gary Kelly getting ready for the big day. At the end of the video you'll see him as the Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland posing with a bunch of other characters from the story. All those folks with him are SWA's leadership council.
