You know, I would have been more emotionally invested in the game had I known that if the Colts won, the ENTIRETY OF ALL MEDIA would dedicate themselves to constant praise of how Great and Awesome Andrew Luck is and what an Amazing Story the Colts' turnaround is and how they are So Inspired by their fallen coach.

I'm really looking forward to NE or HOU beating them by 30.

The Jags certainly won't be doing it on Thursday night.

Nothing new.  ESPN talks nonstop about 3-4 teams and about 10 players, the rest of the league only exists when playing against those teams/players.

The funny thing is had Miami come back and won that game the conversation would be the same, only it would be the Dolphins and Tannehill that would be getting all the praise and it wouldn't be deserved by them either. Indy is just the hot topic at the moment. Remember when it was Arizona earlier in the year, then it was Seattle, now it's INDY. In a week or 2 it will be someone else.

I don't think people would be saying that the Dolphins are "a story for Spielberg."

Me too, and I never root for the Patriots (unless they are playing the Jets).

LOL, I hadn't heard that one. That is pretty funny in a backwards way. Grin

A 1-15 team having a winning season is news.  Dolphins were talked about non-stop in 2008.

True, but the Dolphins ended up 11-5 and won their division. Do you see a 11-5 campaign or a Division title from Indy this year? I don't. I can see maybe 9 wins, but not 11 and 11 might not even be enough to win their division, so it's not quite the same story.

I agree it's news, but you have to admit the media blows every NFL story out of proportion now.

I don't either, but when the Dolphins were 1-2 in 2008 and in fourth place in the division, I didn't think they were going to go on to win the division, yet more people were talking about their big win, than either the 3-0 Bills or the 2-1 Pats.

I haven't heard enough Colts-love to make it annoying yet, though most of that is probably due to my world-class ability to ignore shit in the media that doesn't interest me.

I do like Andrew Luck though...liked him 2-3 years ago at Stanford, like him today. With the exception of Brandon Weeden, I really like all of the other 4 "early round" QBs in this class (Luck-RGIII-Tannehill-Wilson), and look forward to watching them develop over the next few seasons.

Amen brother! I have not turned on ESPN since Tuesday. Are they still gloating? After seeing "THE PAGANO SPEECH" for the 100000000000000th time, I turned off the TV and have not been back. lol

The worst part for me is my team getting in the record books for allowing 433 yds. to a rook QB. That really sucks!
