I like Henne, so I'm pleased that he gets a shot in a way that doesn't impact the Dolphins too much, but he's going to have to avoid a repeat of that 1 of 13 finish.

You realize the defense will face him later this year.  It's either going to be a big boom or a big bust for them

This is what I was expecting when I made that "deal" with MikeO preseason.  I just expected it to happen earlier.

Henne is going to get 8 starts this season.  I am interested to see if his numbers will be better than Gabbert's at the end of the season.

They'll be better than Gabbert's before he even has eight starts, lol. I was a big Henne guy, and I think it was a dumb move to let him walk. -EK

I also like Henne and i thought it was a mistake to let him go..   i hope the best for him and i'm sure he will be very good in jacksonville.   i think it was Sparano and the other coaches that turned him into "check down chad".  If he can get rid of that mentality he will prosper in the nfl.

I also liked Henne but he would never have been successful in Miami because the fans had already turned on him.  No matter what he did, he would never have been successful and, for that reason, letting him walk was the right move.

It's the Matt Flynn syndrome...combined with memory problems.

Matt Flynn Syndrome.  A case of performing well during the rare starts in your career and being hailed as the hottest free agent on the market, only to sign with another team for big money and then not be able to crack the starting lineup

^^ sounds rather specific to be a syndrome.

One example would be Scott Mitchell in 1994

So, wouldn't it be Scott Mitchell Syndrome?  SMS for short?  Seems odd that a guy had Matt Flynn syndrome when Matt Flynn was 9 years old...
