Wait, I thought the 4th quarter was the only quarter that mattered?

Actually, points win/loss record is all that matters. But to your point, no all 4 quarters matter. You will not win consistently in this league by playing 1 good quarter and 3 bad/mediocre quarters per game. That is pure silliness !!!

Don't defend EK because he has brought this upon himself. He's been spouting off for 3 weeks now, well this week is OUR turn. EK is gonna get a earful of it for this week. If you don't want to hear it, don't read the Tannehill threads. I'll make you a deal, EK doesn't post another post about Tannehill for the remainder of the year and I won't either.

Defend EK ? WTF are you talking about ? I simply said that I agree with his assessment of this game. If you want to bicker back and forth with EK over a difference of OPINIONS about Tannehill, have at it. You are only embarrassing yourself.

"well this week is OUR turn "? Turn to what ? You may be able to argue that the dolphins won this game, but if you're going to argue that Tannehill had a great game then I just have to laugh at you. Tanne did what he had to do to win a game. That's all, that's it, nothing more. He did not have a great game by any stretch of the imagination.

EK sure spends a lot more time defending Tebow as a Bronco, than RT who wishes he had someone like Thomas as a WR, who Tebow had last season.
Where is all the optimism you had for Tebow? Tebow was not even a rookie when he got his big chance last season. RT deserves a little more leeway based on the available talent around him, and the fact he is a true rookie and has not had a season to digest the offense prior to hitting the field.

That's only when its Tebow. When its Tannehill, Fireman EK is allowed to be a hypocrite and do a total 180! lol lol

Because EK isn't a Dolphins fan! He is a message board troll on this site

Fireman EK labeled him a BUST at halftime of the Week 1 game. You want leeway from Fireman EK?!! LOL...cute. The fact he wasn't Brady or Manning during the 1st quarter of his first ever game got him the bust label. Don't you know all rookies are supposed to be "perfect" in his eyes (unless their name is Mark Sanchez or Tim Tebow...then its ok to make mistakes he will defend them)

Tannehill's 4th quarter stats

4th Quarter: 7 of 9, 156 yards, 1 TD, 0 INT, perfect 158.3 rating

I give Tannehill credit for not shrinking in the 4th quarter. He's a rookie for crying out loud. You want to blame someone, how about Sherman for closing the field these last couple of games. How about Ireland for being Ireland. If you can bounce back from a bad start and lead a team to victory, then you're on your way. Bad start. Good finish. Way to go, Tannehill.

And the Dolphins won, so I don't understand the point.

Ek, I don't post on here but when I do I'm a fasano backer and it's no lie about that.  I come here for comical relief at times. (mostly by you)  I've followed this board and team for the past 3 years.  I hate to use harsh language and it's going to be the last post for a bit but you ek are a douche.  Plain and simple.  You are a cancer.

There's no football talk to back up this helacious quote from me.  Only a multitude of bullshit from you as a cancer to the team.

Have fun guys.

Barely won on the last play of the game. And the point is that the Dolphins did not play a good game today. If they continue to play like this, they will lose much more than they will win. The name of the thread implies that we are talking about Tannehill. In that sense, the point is that he looked like total shit for 75% of the game and if not for one penalty he would have lost the game all by himself. Put simply, the refs bailed him out. That won't happen on a consistent basis

No thanks, I'll pass. Let those two beat each other with sticks. I'll just call it like I see it. And overall today I saw a very mediocre and lackluster Dolphins team today that barely one on the last play of the game. Same shit, different season !!!

The name of the thread implies that we are talking about Tannehill.
So why are you trying to derail the thread then? Let's face facts, Tannehill brought the team from behind and got the 'W'. There should be nothing for you to bitch about if you really believe what you say, but who are we kidding? This was a good day for Tannehill and the Dolphins, it's a shame that some people can't see the forest for the trees.

Perhaps you could advise them on the art of playing a fictional character...
