So why are you trying to derail the thread then? Let's face facts, Tannehill brought the team from behind and got the 'W'. There should be nothing for you to bitch about if you really believe what you say, but who are we kidding? This was a good day for Tannehill and the Dolphins, it's a shame that some people can't see the forest for the trees.

Yea, we won and Tannehill had a good 4th quarter. He sucked ass the rest of the game. Luck of the draw had a lot to do with winning today. Just because we won doesn't mean that it was a good game for Tannehill or the Dolphins. If they play 10 games like they played today, they will lose 6-7 of them. You did the same silly shit with Henne.

Actually, points win/loss record is all that matters.
So then, Tannehill had the best possible game today, right?  Because he got a W, which you just said is "all that matters."

Blah, blah, blah. No, Tannehill had a good quarter, period. Obviously you don't understand that these kinds of performances aren't going to win games consistently. Now go argue with EK or Mike about Tannehill's shitty game...

NOTHING TO ARGUE ABOUT! Tannehill led 3 fourth quarter scoring drives. 2 of which resulted in touchdowns. He had a PERFECT QB rating in the 4th quarter and some of you want to nit-pick about ticky tack stuff that doesn't matter. Some of you expect him to be Peyton, Eli, or Brady in his first year. And what really F'n gets me is most all of us predicted this team to win between 2-4 games, we are already at 5 wins and its not even December and yet some of you people are still unhappy?!? THE TEAM PASSED YOU'RE OWN EXPECTATIONS AND AREN'T HAPPY??? I DON"T GET IT!!!

4th quarter and the team down, Tannehill took the team on his back today and carried them to a win! And its not enough for some of you? You still want to bitch and complain after a win vs a good team

Tannehill could go 25/26 for 300 yards and 3 TD's and some here would bitch he had 1 incompletion! It's never enough!

Luck of the draw had a lot to do with winning today.

That sentence makes no fucking sense at all. Just so ya know!!

Luck of the draw? What does that even mean? The Dolphins won because they made more plays in the 4th quarter with the game on the line, Tannehill made more plays than Wilson with the game on the line in the 4th quarter. Not luck of the draw (whatever that even means)

Do you realize the last time that the Dolphins went into the 4th quarter down by a TD and won was 2005? Seven years and god knows how many QB's ago. But you're probably right we should all bitch about the fact that Dolphins weren't winning going into the 4th quarter in the first place because that's what real fans do. Only the most jaded of Dolphins fans think like that, but we have you and EK to keep us level headed. Thank goodness that almost everyone on this site besides you two are fanatics and are just happy when the Dolphins win, no matter how it happened.

My guess is he is saying that roughing the passer penalty was lucky, otherwise we lose.

how is it lucky? You can't hit the QB in the head. It's the rule! lol....amazing. That isn't luck. Seattle committed a penalty! It's not even debatable! WOW, unreal how some people are still miserable even after the team has a good win!

Perhaps you could advise them on the art of playing a fictional character...

I teach business, not drama.  Lord knows those guys  breed enough drama on their own.   Wink

You mean like Golden Tate's catch that set up Seattle's first TD that was offensive pass interference? Yeah, sometimes it's better to be lucky than good and usually those things even out in a season, sometimes they even out in the same game.  Grin

Bullshit.  That play was penalty free.  You sound like a homer.

I don't mind talking shit about EK, or even MikeO for that matter, because they both deserve loads of it for the cow turds they spew at each other on this board, but this is ridiculous.

Can we just start acting like grownups and leave the juvenile stuff behind us?  There are some of us who want to talk about actual things that happened during the game and not the made up drama 2 people can't seem to leave behind them.

There was either a push in the back or pull on the shoulder pads that allowed Tate to get to the ball against a DB who was looking back for the ball. That's pass interference on the defense if they do that, in my book that's pass interference on the offense. Now you can argue that it would have been a questionable call and I won't argue, but no more questionable than the call that went against Seattle on that Tannehill pick. If you are gonna say that's a lucky call, then you can call the non-call on Tate lucky. One went against Seattle and one went against Miami and both teams scored a play or 2 later. They evened out. That was my point.

That's just my opinion I could be wrong. I could be a homer...I probably am.

Funny comment during the game.

I had to listen to a Seattle broadcast on my phone to hear the game so obviously they were Seahawk homers. Well after the roughing the passer call one of them said "Where are those replacement refs when you need them?".  Made me laugh.

It was offensive pass interference on that play

I'm just saying from what I thought I saw him post in another thread. The announcers were saying that probably shouldn't have been a penalty since there's no way he could have stopped himself. I do believe it was a penalty with the current rules.
