No, I think that's hideous and overdesigned.  I'd just like to get away from the generic, large, block numbers that are centered on the front and back of the jersey.

I'm telling you.  Look at those Heat jerseys I posted.  Off-centered, but very cool and very tasteful.

I think the Dolphin jerseys should continue to have orange as an accent color, not a primary.  Too much orange and they start to look like the U.

^ Yes, I agree.

If you want to do an alternate jersey, that's fine, but I think that dark blue and orange should be used sparingly.

So, Dave, would love it if you went into photoshop and put your vision together.  Take a crack at uniform design.  Doesn't have to be perfect, but would like to see what you have in mind.

Personally, I would never buy or wear a jersey that looked like that above.  Never.  They have to consider that.  There are a lot of traditionalist fans - especially with the Dolphins who's last glory days were 20+ years ago - that would resist such a radical (and hideous) change.

Ditto.

For the most part can't stand when teams change uniforms (especially to throwbacks) just for the sake of change. And I'm no fan of complete overhauls with a trillion colors in the jerseys, slashes, stripes (the busy look).  I like a tweak here and there (like the logo in the original post). I don't need my team to be the "different" one in the bunch.

Imagine if a team like the Packers or Yankees changed their logos... blasphemy. There are some logos that should just be left alone. I'm dead set that Miami should be/have been one of them.

People, myself included, said the same thing about Oregon and now they can't find enough new combinations. Just sayin'.

Using photoshop or something?  I wish there were some kind of flash program that allowed you to try different combos.

The designs coming out from each new rumor since Mike's opening post seem to be getting worse and worse - hopefully these are the ones that have been already rejected! If they want retro, maybe they could go back to the original 1966 uniform and logo - at least that was decent. Wink

From the Palm Beach Post

As for the new Dolphins logo, look for it to come out some time just before the draft begins April 25, with the team’s first-round draft party serving as the official unveiling.

^^ I feel like we have seen this one before.

Sadly, any buffoon with some Photoshop talent can "leak" a logo design and it'll have legs on the interwebs.

This one came from The Big O the sports talk radio guy in Miami. Might be more legit
