No, he didn't. It was confirmed by the team that Ellerbe has no inside logo knowledge earlier today. PFT continues to make up stories with no real factual basis.

I googled it Ellerbe leaks logo,and found the story on PFT it had been updated,noting that Dustin Keller was using the Flail whale version of the logo as his twitter handle..

Deleted strange thought on the logo...

I certainly hope that isn't the logo.  I usually am pretty OK with changes like that, but that logo is completely uninspired.  I hope that is a hoax.

It looks like more a logo used for Sea World's marketing and promotions.

Damn, no inspiration there AT ALL.

I like the Dannell Ellerbe Twitter logo much better.....Hell, I like MY LOGO much better!

From the "silver linings" department, I guess there's something to be said for not making the Dolphin ANGRY like everyone else is doing with their logo (even though I do greatly prefer that ANGRY Dolphin logo at the top of this page).

One has to imagine that at some point, people will get sick of the endless angry mascots (just as people got tired of every team switching to black uniforms in the '90s).  We're ahead of the trend!

If that, or something similar is the new logo ... I have to believe it will go the way of New Coke. Most existing fans won't purchase that.

I hate the Flail whale...Uggh..Let's face it Ladies and Gentleman,Our beloved Dolphins are run by people 75+ years old,and high tailing it to Old Country Buffet right now.So they can be done,and tucked in bed ready for Matlock....Sigh...

Now I'm concerned about what the uniform changes might look like,after seeing this awful logo...

My on the bright side Comment..Well,at least it Aint Pink... Cheesy
