I can't see a Pats-Jets trade for Revis.

1.  Intra-divisional trades for top players are alway sticky.

2.  BB isn't likely to want Mevi$.  Yes, he did trade for Fat Al, but that deal was for a low draft pick with little cap hit for NE, (Redskins took the horrible cap hit).

I'm not seeing that trade happening either(Revis to NE). Especially with Revis' constant demands to be paid. New England doesn't play that. Just ask their newest victim.

If Belichick and Brady see a 3 year window of "one last run at this " before they ride off into the sunset....I could see them making a play for Revis via trade

If BB only thought short term, WW would have been franchised.

I don't doubt why NE would want to make the trade. I doubt why NY would make that trade.

Because nobody else is offering them anything. And they can't franchise him. So take anything now or let him walk a year for now and get nothing

Still nothing for Revis. I wonder what offers they are getting for him?

Peter King reporting that TB is willing to give up a 1st and 2nd round pick in 2014 for Revis. Jets want the picks THIS year.

Looks like a compromise could be had there, one pick this year one pick next year and this gets done.

Interesting twist to the Revis trade. If Tampa wants Revis they might have to take a garbage QB from the Jets as well, specifically Mark Sanchez and his big contract.

From the article... "the discussions between the Jets and Bucs have included the possibility of the Buccaneers assuming the contract of quarterback Mark Sanchez."

Here's what seems most likely...

New York GM:  "You know, we could probably go easier on our asking price if you would be willing to take Mark Sanchez in the deal."

Tampa Bay GM: "Bwahahahaha...wait, are you serious?"

New York GM:  "Hey, I had to ask..."

Tampa Bay GM: "Yeah, that's just not gonna happen."

Imagine if TB takes Tebow.

Surely they cannot be that stupid.

Unless the Jets can move Sanchez and keep Tebow,..... I think if Tebow is cut by the Jets he might have to sit out this year in the NFL. I'm not so sure another NFL team will sign him at this point. He is a side-show circus that no team wants.
