Imagine if TB takes Tebow.

Surely they cannot be that stupid.

Tampa would be the second best spot for Tebow after Jacksonville

^^^ That is like saying do you want a horse or cow turd for dinner. There is no good spot for Tebow in the NFL. Besides Tampa isn't giving up on Freeman so why would it be good for Tebow?

Just because a team is located in the state of Florida doesn't automatically make them a "good fit" for Tebow  Roll Eyes

Locality = Asses in the seats.

That has nothing to do with Tebow. So I say once again, how is it good for Tebow?

Besides, They may get people for 1-2 games then the Tebow draw is going to wear off because he won't be playing.

1) Not for a back-up/Bench guy who will never play

2) Tampa isn't having issue selling tickets

Asses in the seats is good for the team, not Tebow.

Really?  Then how come they are getting blacked out almost as often as Jacksonville?

Putting Tebow in a baseball cap holding a clip board NOT playing doesn't solve ticket sale problems IF there are any. This notion that all Tebow fans just show up and blindly buy tickets to watch him do nothing is misguided.

Many actually do and as marketing shows his jerseys do very well. His fans have followed him.

The novelty has begun to wear off! In fact many say its dead. By not playing last year his career/popularity has taken a hit. Have you heard one peep about him this offseason with all of the QB shuffling going on? Not one  thing.

We still hear about him all the time in Orlando but I do realize that's pretty biased. He owns a local training facility with Chipper Jones so it seems he's always relevant about something.

I never thought Tebow would amount to be a good NFL QB, but I always felt like he deserved a chance after what he did in Denver. The Jets robbed him of a year of development with their hilarious incompetence, and I think that more than anything is why no team wants to go near him.  He had interest after the Denver season and his stats didn't change because he just held a clipboard all last season.

I think once NY releases him this offseason, some crappy team will scoop him up as a 3rd stringer and eventually give him a shit. I don't think he will have success, but he deserves the opportunity that NY robbed from him.

He robbed himself.

He had the opportunity to request JAX instead, where he would have had a nearly-guaranteed shot at the starting job to prove himself a legitimate NFL starter.  Instead, it seems like he figured, "Sanchez got the Jets to the AFCC game twice, and I'm better than him, so I should go there and repeat what I did in Denver," without paying any attention to the endless media circus that the Jets have been since Rex took over.

I don't think Tebow's story is over. No one certainly predicted the last three years so I find it hard to believe they got it right now.
