I wish I could change my vote. Seeing it on a helmet is starting to sway me a bit. It definitely looks better that way than stand alone.

Like I said, wait for the uniforms.

If the uniforms are good, the change will be good.
If the uniforms are bad, none of the rest of this will matter.

I'm just hoping we get rid of the clown collars.

Doubtful.  According to the Dolphins' equipment manger, it is a result of the Nike "Fly" collar jersey design.  Most teams (not all) have it, supposed to make the jersey fit better.  Teams which have different color front and neck line will end up with "clown collar," as you say, unless the opt to not have the special "fly collar" at all.

White collar.  Problem solved.

See, I like some contrast.  I like aqua pants, aqua collar, aqua facemask.  I don't like the all-white insane-asylum look.  The "clown collar" doesn't bother me at all - I actually like the way it looks.  I hope they add more colorful elements to the new uniforms.  Integrate more orange into the look.  All white may be "cooler" in the heat, but it lacks any character or imagination.  Every team has white as a color.  How about a little identity?

I don't mind aqua collars... if they can go all the way around and not look like polo shirts are sticking out.

Yes, but I don't consider those the standard to compare the new logo against. I prefer to compare it to the previous logo.

The photo you linked to is cute, in an anatomically incorrect kind of way. A female dolphin's "goodies" are on her underside, about halfway up the torso. Apparently the old logo dolphin enjoys dry-humping the new logo dolphin's spine.

The preceding marine biology moment was brought to you by Jacques Cousteau...

Well, dolphins have been known to rape other dolphin's blowholes.  Such kind and gentle creatures they are.

Now that I've brought it up,  the new logo makes me feel like I've been raped in my blowhole also.

Dave, what do you think about this?  Instead of the dark blue in the sun.
