Seems clear that Martin is now the LT of the Miami Dolphins. I think Incognito is our LG when all is said and done. Pouncey at center. Right guard I think Lance Louis if healthy enough come camp.

Last night Jeff Ireland said he isn't done in free agency which makes me believe that Winston or McKinne will be brought in to compete for the Right Tackle position with Jerry, Yeatman, and Dallas Thomas. And if they sign Winston he will start. McKinee I wouldn't pencil in as a starter though.

Thomas would make a nice backup this year as he can play both Guard and Tackle and is versatile. Hopefully a year from now he is starting though. I think if Jon Jerry doesn't win a starters job he will be let go since this is the final year of his deal. Jerry did at least show up to the first OTA in shape.

Miami will be $23 mill UNDER the cap come June 1st. Around $9-10 mill for rookies. So Miami has $13 mill (give or take) to play with. If any other tackles are cut Miami can grab them if they want to.

Eric Winston working out for the Fins on Wednesday
Clabo visiting with Miami tonight and tomorrow
McKinnie visited with Miami on Monday
Winston Justice will visit and workout with Miami Wednesday

Looks like this tackle situation will be resolved very quickly!

Miami really does need to get that tackle position covered as quickly as possible.  I'm still shocked that Miami didn't snag Lane Johnson at #3. I like Dion Jordan, but Miami, and Tannehill in particular, could have really benefited by having that sort of talent at the LT spot, with Martin as the solid RT whose best strength is pass defense.

We'll see how it plays out...hope they get someone worth his cleats.

When all is said and done I think Martin is our LT and we sign Winston or Clabo as our RT.

Outside chance the KC deal goes down just because it makes so much sense to all parties involved and that kicks Martin to RT, but I don't think they passed on Lane Johnson unless they are 100% comfortable with Martin at LT going forward. We will see though I guess

Armando reporting the Fins worked out every tackle now and are thinking about who to sign.

They only want to give out a short term deal (1 or 2 years max). And they aren't even against bringing in McKinnie and someone else (Winston, Clabo, Justice) if the price is right and signing 2 guys. Ireland figures there aren't enough teams for all of these guys and someone will have to settle for a 1 year deal eventually!

Fins have all the leverage right now. Too many tackles and not enough homes for them all.
