While I refuse to give the guy props for the "head slap," he was pretty amazing even without it. He also had one of the coolest personalities the NFL has ever seen.

Thankfully, he can live on in the NFL Films archive.  He's head slapping in the great beyond now.  RIP

Late last night there were a couple of tweets,by credible sources,saying he had past..but not alot of info...then started seeing the stories this morning... Cry

Go back and watch the movie Heaven Can Wait and watch him beat the shit out of the two man sled by himself.  Then factor in that he'd been retired about 5 years when they shot the movie..
