In case you didn't notice, this is the ANTI Fins chat.
That's why I left the thread.

I once again award it to anyone who would start a shame of the game for a preseason game.

Parthetic that I have to agree with the Pats fan

I would also add that for this particular team (who has a giant vacuum at tight end and a running game comprised entirely of hopes and dreams), red zone attempts are particularly worthless.  If you have a great running game or short passing game, it's easy to convert red zone attempts into TDs.  MIA needs to be scoring TDs over the top.

This is my fear for this years' team.  It was great that they picked up the much needed WR's, but they blew off Bush with no replacement.  They got rid of Fasano and replaced him with Keller who is now gone for forever.  I know many on this board aren't fans of Bush and Fasano, but they scored all the TD's last year.  If the fins kept those two players, along with WR and defensive improvements I think they could have been a contender.  Now, unless a couple guys really step up their game, and they catch some breaks, it's going to be another mediocre season.

I can understand about losing the TD production, but I still think Miami's biggest issue is going to be the O-line play. The running game is young and decent-but-not-great. Lamar Smith and Daniel Thomas need the O-line to improve. Miami finally gets a good franchise QB to build around, and now I worry about him getting killed by the opposing pass rush.

I'll cross fingers and knock on wood, but I fear that the Dolphins' O-line will limit any improvement from last year to this season.

Lamar Smith needs more than that.  And I wouldn't call him young. Tongue

Lamar Smith needs a walker and some Ben Gay to do anything these days, I'm sure.

I'll stop short of calling a "shame" on the fantasy league's organizer, but I will offer a piece of advice for future seasons. Once you start the process, don't just let it sit there waiting for people to jump up and join. You have to keep pushing people until it's full.

^^^^

Eh, I'm not exactly Mr. popular on this board as it is.  Not sure pushing people to join a fantasy league would have endeared myself to everybody any more lol

Anyway it sucks because it looks like I'm going to be single this football season for the first time in three years Sad
