THE ASSCLOWN AWARD

« on: September 08, 2013, 04:57:12 pm »

The refs in the Bucs-Jets game.  That was a terrible call and gave a gift win to Miami's division rival.

I am going to do shame of the week instead of shame of the game this year, so we can include players from other games.

Shame of the Game goes to Lamar Miller.  Continued virtually nothing today and he's supposed to be the "home run" back

I think you gotta blame the offensive line for that.

Shame of the week goes to the entire offensive line.  4 sacks, and one of the worst rushing yardage totals in team history.

O-line.  This team will be lucky to get 8 wins this season if they continue that pitiful play.

I am glad as hell to see Miami come away with the win, but that offensive line looks a lot like the train wreck I envisioned them being this year. I just hope they can improve as the season goes along...

I am going to do shame of the week instead of shame of the game this year, so we can include players from other games.

If you do it for any game besides the Phins game, it wouldn't really fit in the Anti-"Fins" section, would it?

The offensive line is terrible. Not sure how everyone but Ireland saw this coming. Maybe they will show improvement against other defensive lines?

I wonder if Cleveland's front 7 is better than we think, because we made them look like a top 5 unit.

Although, I can't determine if it is the o-line or the RB talent.  They seemed to be acceptable protecting the QB.

They gave up four sacks I believe. That is not acceptable to me.

I don't like picking entire units but I don't think we can say anything other than o-line this week.

A vote for O-Line should really be a vote for O-line coach Jim Turner.

That guy has some work to do this week.

I'll go with Nolan Carrol as the punt return protection just to be different. He cost Miami a TD all by himself which is pretty bad. He was terrific in pass coverage though. No one really deserved a shame of the game because even the offensive line wasn't that bad, it was just that Cleveland's front 7 played that well against the run. Miami's o-line did a decent job of pass blocking, especially in the 2nd half.

Offensive freaking line sucks donkey ballz.  Ive been complaing all pre-season about this.  No way in hell our Running backs are going to make a big splash with the Fat Boys up in front.

SOTG goes to you know who and its not a big suprise.

I just want to defend the line for one sec -- the run-blocking was bad.  But pass-blocking, they did really well.  Tannehill had time to make lots of throws.
