I don't think the defense struggled. We settled down in the2nd half n only allowed 3 pts.
Game ball tannehil but our online did excellent run blocking second half too

You have to give Clay a game ball!

The contribution he made was big in this game... it also makes for another weapon teams have to account for.   If we can get a decent run game going this offense can be explosive!  You have Clay becoming a threat down the seam... you know Wallace can take the top off the defense and with Hartline do his thing you can attack every part of the field.   Get Miller more touches out the back field and in open space.   I like the tandem of Miller and Thomas...they are totally different type runners.

Thomas is a one cut and go guy while Miller is more patient.  I wish Miller was more one cut and go but his style has a place also, and he's always a threat to take it to the house!

How about an honorable mention to the rookie kicker Sturgis for nailing two 54 yarders in a row (getting iced on the first)?

He hit two 45+ kicks last week (and a 36-yarder).

That kid is really doing well.

I got to give it to Clay. Maybe I'm mistaken, but wasn't everyone talking crap about Clay a few weeks ago and in preseason. Or am I thinking of someone else?

No, you were right. I'm happy to have been wrong about Clay this game. He's shown me a little something this year, but he has to keep it going.

My game ball is actually going to an offensive lineman. Pouncey is a freaking beast. There isn't anyone who out hustles this guy. He was key to what success our offense had today.

Honorable mention to Grimes. I'd love to see us sign him to a longer contract.

Ironically, the knock I've heard on Grimes is that he can be a bit of a problem off the field.  He (and his wife) can be kind of... complainy.

I'm giving my Game Ball to Phillip Wheeler who did what Cam Wake and Dion Jordan couldn't do: Put Luck's ass on the turf when it came down to it.

Honorable Mentions to Charles Clay, Brent Grimes, Mike Wallace and Ryan Tannehill

Which can explain the birthday cake his wife got for him

Someone who impressed me a lot was Dion Jordan. YES, he didn't wrap Luck up late and that is all people will remember is the missed sack.  But bigger picture and go re-watch the game. He was in on Luck about 4 times in the second half and forced Luck to out of the pocket or to make a bad pass.  This kid is a year away from being a beast. He gets a year in an NFL weight room and rehab that shoulder to 100% and I think he is going to be very special.

Joe Rose said Jordon's excuse was he thought Luck had gotten rid of the ball. He said Jordon pulled up so as not to get a late hit and then and was surprised to see him take off.
