Armando Salguero had an article this morning about the honeymoon being over for Joe Philbin and the coaching staff.

I believe the honeymoon is over for the whole organization. After a euphoric start to the season with 3 wins, they have now lost 3 straight, each one more frustrating than the last.

The loss to NO is somewhat is acceptable, since NO is a legitimate SB contender and the game was NO.  The loss to BAL was bad, since we couldn't commit to the run and then to tack on several key injuries during the game didn't help.  The loss yesterday is hair pulling, since BUF was basically starting a 3rd QB and running game was nil.  Yet, there they were allowing conversions on 3rd and long and AGAIN with the turnovers and sacks.

Philbin stood on the podium after the game yesterday and sounded like an idiot.  Some key quotes:

“I have to do a better job getting the team ready to play, no question about it.”

"I want to congratulate the Bills for playing better and making the plays to win the game."

WTF?Huh?  That's what a loser says.  He has that deer in the headlights look to him. I know his demeanor is one of quiet reserve, but you're in the big leagues now and you can't be saying shit like this when you've ripped off 3 losses in a row and bad ones.

Is the job too big for him?  Maybe. I don't know.  It's also frustrating to know he was a former OL coach and that's one glaring issue for MIA.  Add into the fact that the front office talked about addressing this issue during the summer, but that's all they did, TALKED.  Could have made a move for Branden Albert but didn't.

I don't know, it's so frustrating.  There's the same issues creeping up again with this organization, it seems that a 6-10 record is awaiting them at the end of the season.  Bad Off line play, turnovers, bad defense at critical times.

So much promise to start the season, and then a key injury to Dustin Keller, and then some more smaller injuries to other key players, Wake, Ellerbe, etc, have hampered them.

I don't know what to say, I know it's knee-jerk reaction Monday after a bad loss, but it's like we've seen this TV show before.

What do you expect from a guy who looks like a delegate for the corn farmers union who has a right hand man that for all intents and purposes should be in a nursing home??  If the Dolphins have another season like the last for, I say get rid of Ireland and the coaching staff and start all over again

You can still get a faint whiff of Tuna stank on this team.

Yea ... I don't get that at all. The Dolphins are handicapped by their offensive line. We knew that before the season started although I don't think we knew how bad they actually were. All the coaching in the world isn't going to make them legitimate starters.

Buffalo's whole game plan was based on our weak O-line. They wanted to jump the underneath short routes because they knew we were afraid of their pass rush and would dump the ball quick. It worked to the tune of a pick six and several short gains. They didn't respect the deep ball even playing the short routes on Wallace.

We still have some weaknesses in other places like DBs but making some changes to our O-line in the off-season will make us a legitimate contender.

I mentioned for the past week that teams like Buffalo were match-up nightmares for Miami specifically because of their pass rush and the Phins' porous O line. What- did you all think I was just joking? -EK

No, we thought you say the same thing all the time and disappear when you are wrong.

And how wrong have I been this season? Lamar "home run threat" Miller has been non-existent taking over the role of a guy who has been a top 10 back and Miami let walk. Wallace hasn't made an impact at all this season and is doing little more than eating up salary that could be spent on better players. RT still has more turnovers than TDs, and still isn't the answer at QB, no matter how often you guys say he is. So, what exactly have I been wrong about in the big picture? Miami is an average team with a bad offense and a defense good enough to keep them in most games, but not good enough to override the ineptitude of the offense. They'll finish middle of the pack (again), do just well enough to keep from getting a high draft pick (again), not make the playoffs (again), and will break the hearts of the fans (again). This bullshit about letting RT grow into his position and being ahead of schedule for where the team should be is just that- bullshit. You don't spend money and go after a Keller, Wallace, and Ellerbe if you're not trying to win now. They're not going to win now. Yet, every year you guys keep saying "next year." Meanwhile, next year comes and goes and there's always a myriad of excuses, but little else to show for it. -EK

I have to admit, I was on the Tannehill bandwagon to start the season, based on what I saw last season, with the limited weapons he had.  Then, to start the pre-season, he looked solid, making some nice throws and really connecting with Keller.

After the last couple of games though, I'm thinking about jumping off, if not throwing myself off of it.

I said yesterday he seems to have the "Henne disease", which if you look in NFL medical books, is a disease where the QB pats the many times ball during his read progressions and stares down his WR, where upon his release of the ball, the ball is picked off by the opposing team.  I swear this a real disease!

Anyways, the pick-6 he threw yesterday, wow.  I mean, that's a rookie throw right there.

He seems to have regressed the last 3 games at a rapid pace. Whether it's jumpy feet because his OL stinks or he's just not "getting it", I don't know.  But I do know, this MIA team cannot continue to make TOs at this rate and wins games.

And yet strangely enough, you didn't seem to be around to point these things out during week 2 or 3.

A coincidence, I assure you.

You are all worked up over a team you don't care about. Why? Once again WHY ARE YOU HERE??? You hate Miami, we get it. But you get all worked up over a team you could care less about.  Be happy your Panthers won yesterday and go post on a Panthers board! No need to "troll" here!

P.S...you have been wrong about Tim Tebow, Jerome Simpson, Tannehill, Mark Sanchez, Quinton Coples, Trent Richardson, and so many other things we have lost count!
