Not sure what they gave up to the Ravens to get him.  Hopefully he performs better than Turnstile Clabo

Ah you beat me to it!  Just heard it on WQAM.

These guys on WQAM don't think they move Martin back to RT and McKinnie to LT.  They think McKinnie goes to RT to replace Clabo.

can't be worse than what we have in Clabo. Guessing this move means Martin back to RT and McKinnie in at LT. But that is off the top of my head and I don't know that for a fact

isn't he out of shape ?

They looked at him this summer and the big knock against getting him was that he was not conditioned, self-disciplined and being in South Beach would not help this.  Plus, don't know he fits Philbin's "guy", but they're strapped right now to fix this glaring problem.

Wouldn't be something if he came in and was solid at Tackle?

Once Baltimore traded for Eugene Monroe they had no need for McKinnie. Not so much out of shape they just went younger and got a guy who was better.

I don't think they'll move Martin.  I think McKinnie gets pressed into service on the right side.  We will see though.

I hope they don't move Martin, but McKinnie has never played the right side.  I imagine, that would be the best way to do it, but Martin's development on the left side may be hampered.

Either way, its nice to see the team doing SOMETHING to address the glaring problem.  I can't imagine what happened to Clabo.  He was so good last season...

I haven't seen anywhere what they gave Baltimore for him, but its probably a low-round draft pick.  McKinnie has been inactive the past 2 games, so the asking price couldn't have been that high.

^^ Guessing it was a low round pick as well

Also think this is an 8 week fix and he will be cut at seasons end and they will just eat any dead money if there is any. They have enough cap space to do it

I would guess McKinnie plays the left side but that's just my guess.

To make a roster spot for McKinnie I wouldn't be shocked if they did in fact cut Clabo!

Ravens saying it is a conditional low round pick.  As expected

I don't think this is anything more than a band-aid.  I don't have high expectations for McKinnie, and I expect he will also play the left side.  Just don't get Tannehill killed and it is already better.

Just watched the interview Clabo gave at his locker yesterday.  I kinda feel for the guy, though he's been bad this year.  He looked really distraught talking, but he did his best to answer questions.

^^^^ just because they are not top players doesn't mean they are bad people.  The way some people talk you would think they were purposely bad.

Lot's of talk on the radio this morning about Ireland's poor job with this team. 90 million and still a marginal team. I wonder if he is feeling the heat again.

People always want to blame Ireland.  No one ever praises him for doing something well.

Clabo ranked out as a top tackle last season.  Ireland did the right thing to go get him.  Because he is underperforming is not Ireland's fault.

I hope he is.  I lost all respect for Ireland when he made those comments to Dez Bryant.  His performance overall has been average at best.  He needs to go.

He is 100% responsible for the talent on this team ... or lack thereof.

If we had Andrew Luck but were still 6-10 after all the years he has been "ordering the groceries" then celebrating Andrew Luck would be pretty silly.
