As the Dolphin's are the Patriots AFCE rivals, I typically only root for them when they play the Jets.

But I will be rooting for them tomorrow.

Quite frankly I am not worried about the Dolphins beating out NE for the AFCE.  NE and Bengals both are 6-2, with Cinci having the head to head tiebreaker.  A win by Miami helps NE in their quest for a bye.

You just convinced me to root for Cinci.

I'm just hoping the team shows up motivated after the hell of a week that's been.

If not, this game could get real ugly, real fast. The same could be said for the rest of the season.

Pats fan roots for Miami, part duex.

This one probably requires an explanation.

Despite the loss last night, I am still not worried about NE and the AFCE race.

Right now, NE and the Colts are tied for the #2 seed at 7-3.  Both have two losses in the conf.  If both teams win their remaining game the tie breaker will be strength of victory.  Likewise if each lose one they will likely be tied in conf as I see NE's most likely loss to be to Denver and the Colts to either the Bengals or Chiefs.

Yes, this also means I am rooting for the Jets and Bills.  (Although a Jets win only helps half as much as a Mia win)

Part III.

I hate the Jets.  Game doesn't matter much for NE's playoff hopes one way or the other.
