In OT, Wallace showed why he was picked up (Tannehill still overthrew him).
Grimes did a great job (even though he got embarrassed with the rest of the team on that Bernard TD).
Good to see Sturgis make a clutch FG.  Hopefully that will get his confidence up.

Daniel Thomas is the most useless player on the team.  And the existence of Tyson Clabo makes that a statement.
The entire second half, I would shout out "first man misses!" on every CIN offensive play.  I think I was right 90% of the time.

MIA got hosed on the Hartline PI non-call (and the Hartline offensive PI call), but MIA also got a gift on the Ellerbe INT (that was an easy helmet-to-helmet call).  I call it a wash.

Daniel Thomas sucks major ass.  He should be cut very soon

This is our problem right here!    Mike Sherman is not the OC for this team... he is a bad play caller and clueless at times.  He almost went away from the run again in the 2nd half and ran Thomas on runs that should have used Miller.  That 3rd and inches is a good example... you don't use Thomas on a Power O!   That should have been Miller where with his speed he could have bounced it!

I don't know if Thomas is the most useless man, Wheeler is running neck and neck with Clabo.  But in Clabo's defense, he's old man, 32 by NFL standards playing line and he's getting beat.

Wheeler is just awful.  Look at any tape or future games.  The guy just does not make plays.  I saw him "whiff" on many a play last nite OR falling to the ground after chasing a player.  It's a fact and the news needs to call him out on it, but no one will.

Ellerbe on the other hand, has been a great pick-up.  He plays the MLB great, sees the play and goes for it.

The win was very nice, and I'm glad I was wrong with my prediction (reverse psychology!)  Too bad that those BUF and BAL losses were not wins, it would be nice to be 6-2.

Oh well, see if they can build momentum from this and rip off some wins.

Go Phins!

^^ With Wake back and playing full time I think we will see more of the defense we saw in the first couple games. Lots of pressure on the QB, more INT's, and such. He makes others around him better. Yes, including Wheeler.

I mean 3rd down defense must improve but I think they will fix that in coming games. Cincy has lots of weapons they are a tough team to stop. Other teams won't be able to do that on 3rd down as consistently as they did.

I'm not sure. I think most of the games this year have had quite a few 3rd and long conversions on this defense, both runs and passing. This defense will shut someone down and have them in a 4th and 13 situation and totally fuck the play up and give up the first down. It seems to be a recurring theme. Maybe I'm exaggerating a bit, but I seem to remember plenty of situations.

You are not exaggerating anything the defense has been giving up 3rd and long all year.

I sure as heck wish we'd hear jordons name once in a while. 8 games in and pick number three if the draft barely sees the field.

He isn't getting sacks but he brings pressure and has forced some early throws. Plus he was a blanket on the Pats TE's last week.  I know that doesn't show up in the stat sheet and you want more, but he did suffer through camp with his injury and was a bit behind on stuff. I'm not worried about him. I think an offseason program in an NFL weight room and this kid will be a monster. The 2nd half of that Ravens game showed this kid is gonna be "BIG TIME".....he was in on Flacco on almost every pass and caused chaos...not to mention he was the reason for a defensive touchdown.
