I'm bored so I'm going to blog this game.

The Texans have come out throwing and Keenum connects with Andre Johnson right away for a big strike and touchdown

Luck answers right back with a big strike but this one doesn't get into the endzone.

We could be in for a real thriller here.

I wonder, when do they record all the players saying where they went to school?

The Colts are stopped on third down but a penalty is called on them.  Kubiak declines the penalty and Vinatieri misses the field goal

I leave for the restroom and come back to see a fourth and one deep in Colt territory, where they are stopped.  We've had more action in less than half a quarter then a lot of games have in a quarter

Luck's pass is dropped on third down and four, costing them a first down.  Reggie Wayne where art thou?   That should earn some wind sprints tomorrow

More wild action as MacAfee muffs the snaps, dances around and punts the ball under duress.   It's a good kick, but it's negated by a downfield penalty, leading to a rekick.

I find out the field goal was blocked. 

The rekick appears to be blocked and MacAFee is lucky he is not seriously injured. 

On the replay, I did not see him touch the ball.  Should there have been a penalty?

The announcer agrees with me and the Texans go to the ground to get a first down.

Keenum nails Johnson once again on a throw that seemed to hang in the air forever. 

Touchdown Texans and the Colts are in trouble.

Who is this quarterback, I've never heard of him

after a big run, the Colts have another punting adventure as the punt rolls inside the one and the Colts player tosses it to a teammate to keep it inside the five

Johnson burns the Colts again on third down.

This quarter ends with a modest running play and the Texans facing a third down and leading 14-0

The Texans can't convert.

However, the D begins to assert itself on back to back plays, as first they get pressure and then they get a sack.

Sack again on third and they rule the play blown dead.

Colts look completely out of sync

sack pushes them back and the field goal fails to slip inside the left upright.  Colts have  good field position and will look to get back into this game

Reggie Wayne being hurt is really costing the Colts

The Colts go three and out.  They need a huge play from their defense

Keenum and Johnson keep shredding the Colts, but they recover well and force another punt

Good run back and the Colts will look to capitalize here

The Colts get a huge penalty on a PI call and are inside the ten

They cannot do anything with it and Adam nails the kick to put the Colts on the board.

Another big play as the Colts force a fumble on the kickoff. 

But it's overturned in review.  I disagree with that call completely.

Two minute warning

Texans come out firing with one big play to Johnson and another near miss

Keenum makes it happen with legs and then his arm as he hits Johnson for a third touchdown.  What a performance here in the first half.

The Colts need a field goal before the half to cut it to 21-6 like they did against NE in the 2006 AFC title game

They make some odd decisions and run out the clock after getting a first down.

The refs have been horrid in this game, which has not helped the Colts one bit.
