There have been several players saying they'd welcome him to their team. Let's not be quite so extreme. -EK

Yes, because who went a bad Offensive Linemen on their team who is also a liar, a pussy and a hypocrite that runs to their lawyer? Washington would trade a 1st rounder for him!

Okay, bad example. They actually would.

I have no idea why. He was a marginal starting tackle before any of this happened. Now he's a marginal starting tackle that doesn't have the desire to play in the NFL, lacks the ability to ask for help from within the organization and instead takes it to the media. I think all those people saying they would want him on their team have not played with him since his college days when his athletic ability was enough to get by.

He did go to the teamIreland.  The teamIreland told him to punch Incognito.
Fixed that for you. Even the above is a bit of a stretch as it seems the conversation was actually between Ireland and his agent, not between Ireland and Martin. I doubt that Martin ever talked to Ireland about it.

I guess we'll see. I doubt that either guy is done. I could see Martin being picked up by Indy, SF, or NE. -EK

1) Incognito is probably done cause his play has fallen off a cliff. Nobody will tolerate the nonsense if you can't play anymore.

2) Aside from SF or Indy I don't think any team would take Martin. He might have to sit out a year at this point as well and let this die down some. He is coming off as a rat and weak.  Hell he might not even want to play or if he has emotional issues he might not be cleared to play and then no team would touch him.

And coaches can't comment. If a coached is asked by the media and responds with anything other than, "I can't comment about a player under contract with another team" than it is tampering.

And at the same time. The players that said they would take Martin, said that before the Incognito interview.

I saw the interview. Incognito was well coached for it.

Is a team going to give the Dolphins a 1st or 2nd round pick in trade for Martin?  Hell no.

And even if everything is the way Incognito claims:

Would a team in need for help on the OL, pick him up off waivers or sign him as a FA to a 2 year deal with little guaranteed money?   Why not?  Guys have done worse and gotten 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th chances.  How many second chances did Incognito get?  He will get a 2nd chance.

I would say no. But the question isn't did Martin threaten Incognito.

That's just the 1 text Incogntio referenced in his interview today. Glazer did say there are countless texts of Martin and Incognito using vulgar and racial slurs towards each other which he obviously couldn't read on air.  Look the vulgar language and racism went both ways that's the bigger point. Not just this one text.

Dave Hyde @davehydesports
The tweet of @wmdavidcornwell provided context of Martin's msg to Incognito. Why won't he release context of Incognito voicemail to Martin?

Re: the texts from Martin to Inconito, a source tells me there were more along the lines of today's, plus lots of sexually explicit ones.

What the South Florida media is saying tonight
