^^^ Which historically have paid off so well since we have had a #1, #2, & #3 during our struggles. This play for a high pick theory is crap. It is what you do with your picks, no where you select.
Our #1 was a good pick. We just failed to hang on to him after a so-so injury season. Our #3 "could" turn out to do pretty well but obviously he isn't going to be an major impact this year. The #2 didn't turn out to warrant a #2 but he was serviceable. I think it was just a bad year to be bad.
Where we suck is getting impact players from that point on and that's where GMs earn their money. they need to find the Zach, Jason's, Surtain and Madison's for us.
