How many WRs have better stats than Michael Irvin or Lynn Swann?
How many RBs have better stats than Larry Csonka?

Postseason success matters (to the selectors).  Reed's team won 4 straight conference championships.  It's not like inducting key players (with above-average stats) on really good teams is a new development.

In 4 Super Bowls Reed has 27 receptions for 323 yards, no TD's. Nothing special by any means. 80 yards per game average. And in one game he had only 34 yards.

In 20 playoff games he has 85 receptions and 9 TD's. Are those great numbers? I mean they aren't bad but consider he was NEVER ALL PRO even once, and I dont think he is a hall of fame player. Let alone should have got in before Marvin Harrison who has 41 more TD's than him.

My analysis is spot on.

No, your analysis is still terrible.  Now if you want to say the voters are biased against the kicking positions, I'd agree with you; but to blame it what current kickers accomplish is just wrong.  I doubt that ever enters the mind of the voters as it relates to kickers.

Whether its football or baseball, typically the committees don't like to admit more than 3 or 4 guys per year at most.  Hence, historically the spots go to QB's, WR's, and RB's.
