Agree with both of the last two comments. Washington screwed up massively in trading the farm to get RGIII, and Cousins has the potential to play well and become a valuable trade chip to get some of that RGIII price back. Washington gave up their 2012 1st rounder (#6 overall), their 2nd round pick in that draft (turned into Janoris Jenkins), their 2013 first rounder (#22 overall) and their first rounder for this coming draft. At this point, you have to think they wish they would have just held pat at #6 and drafted Tannehill. Or, if you want to play the 20-20 hindsight game, since Cousins appears to have some skills as a potential starting QB, they could have used that #6 overall pick on Luke Kuechly, arguably one of the top young LBs in the league, and just gone with Cousins in round 4 like they ended up doing anyway.

It's a major story because of the horrible trade Washington made to get him last year (including giving up what looks to be a top 3 pick in this upcoming draft.) When you give up what Washington gave up you expect a superstar. And RGIII looks awful this year and seems to be getting worse every week.
If Cousins comes in and plays decent and has that offense moving....watch out. This story will EXPLODE!!!
Do you think his awfulness may have to do with him not being fully recovered from that knee injury?
