I will root for the Pats, I think.

Catching the Pats is a pipe-dream, since they're not beating Buffalo.  I'd rather have the Ravens limping in (or altogether miss) the playoffs.

Edit: I mean the Pats aren't losing to Buffalo.

I made a mistake in my first post, too.  I will be rooting for the Patriots to beat the Ravens

Root for the Pats. I have no pipe dream of the Fins winning the Super Bowl this year. Root for NE and watch Miami lock up the #6 seed and just get in the playoffs. Miami could lose 35-0 in Rd 1 of the playoffs and I wouldn't care one bit. With this o-line and this turnaround this year and a very young roster....the Fins getting in the playoffs is beyond my wildest expectations. Would be happy with that

I completely agree.  If we make the playoffs at all, it will be a huge accomplishment to build on.  I will be very happy and at that point, you're playing with house money.

I'm going to call BS. Losing a playoff game 35-0 would hurt and create some serious posts about how far Miami has to go. Regardless of how you get there, getting thrashed like that in the playoffs would have the media, opposing fans, and Miami fans talking garbage.

Not for this team, for a 2nd year QB, and all the BS they went through this year with Martin. Just making the playoffs is an accomplishment that makes this season a success. Getting blown out in the playoffs wouldn't change that at all

Have to disagree with you there, just because I don't see Miami taking that kind of a beating if/when they make the playoffs. I'm not saying they'll win a playoff match-up, but get blown out? I just don't see it. Miami only has one blowout loss against a playoff caliber team this season, the 38-17 loss at New Orleans. Other than that, their games against teams either in or challenging for the playoffs are as follows:

Beat Indianapolis 24-20
Lost to New Orleans 38-17
Lost to Baltimore 26-23
Lost to New England  27-17
Beat Cincinnati 22-20
Beat San Diego 20-16
Lost to Carolina 20-16
Beat New England 24-20

That looks like a team that went 4-4 against other playoff-caliber teams, with almost all of them being very tight, competitive games. Miami is arguably playing their best football of the season right now...I'd love to see them slide into the playoffs and see if they can catch fire and pull off a couple of upsets.

I'd love to see Miami take the division but I can't see the Pats losing to Buffalo next week

F it.  I'm rooting for the Pats to lose out and Miami to win the division.  A home playoff game could mean a playoff win!!

We are on the same page. Miami has been tough to play this year. The idea of a blowout was not brought up by me but others. I still see a bunch of negativity coming if they get beat badly though. This board is full of optimism when things are going well (like now) but as soon as there is a loss (especially if it is a blowout) all those good vibes disappear with the wind and the very first post is about how Miami does not have enough talent, they need to blow up everything, etc. Trust me, the good people are feeling now will disappear quickly if there is a blowout.

Agree. If Buffalo wins tomorrow it will be back to fire Irleand, get rid of Philbin, Tannehill sucks.

For some fans it will be like the last 3 weeks or so didn't happen and Miami just went from a borderline playoff team to the worst team in the league. It will be unbearable

Have to be rooting for New England. Catching them and making the 2 seed is possible like winning the lottery is possible. Concentrate on 10-6 and a possible first round win, not a first round bye.
