I don't knock on fan bases for having a black out week 17 when they are mathematically eliminated from the playoffs.

But seriously you can't sell out a home playoff game after you win the division.

It is only Tuesday. If there are tickets still available on Thursday I would be shocked

The Dolphins had an identical problem with selling tickets to playoff games two years in a row.

Things were a bit up in the air whether some of these teams would have a home game, or for the Packers, even make the playoffs.

I don't fault people for not going to games.  It's really all about shaming people into thinking they're not fans if they don't go.  The home environment is better for actually watching the game (though it doesn't match the environment) and it's hundreds of dollars cheaper and it's not exhausting...not to mention it doesn't take all day.  Now, I go to games now and then, but I certainly get why people don't.

I don't really judge a person's "level of fanhood" by whether or not they go to the games. I think that how closely you keep up with your team is a better indicator, as is the voracity with which you defend your team to fans of other teams, especially when things aren't going your team's way. I know fans that I would consider "borderline" who go to a half dozen games a year, but can't name two players on the offensive line. Conversely, I know diehard fans who almost never attend a game in person, but can just about list the entire roster from memory, as well as team play-calling tendencies and other minutia.

I've never attended a Dolphins home game and have only been to two NFL games in my life.
