EK, keep on being an obnoxious fan of a team with some current success.  Odds are it usually doesn't end very well.  We'll see if you come around here trolling much after a disappointing exit from the post-season.

I've been a Panthers fan since Steve Beuerlein and Kevin Greene played for them. When they were 0-3 to start the year, I didn't shy away from here. -EK

You're up on your pedestal right now like the unbearably annoying Seahawks fans are right now.  Good for you.  Your team's sucked butt as long as the Dolphins have and now are enjoying some success.  Until you win the Superbowl keep your gloating to yourself since, like, well, you know, you haven't won dick yet....

Well, they won against Miami. They won their division. They won 4 more games than your team did. Does that mean Miami actually won "less than dick?" -EK

Superbowl or dick.  That's what you win.  My prediction?  Prepare to celebrate dick.

Thread cleaned up.  Stop the personal attacks.

Let me give an example of what I believe to be a topical reply that is not a personal attack:

I've been a Panthers fan since Steve Beuerlein and Kevin Greene played for them. When they were 0-3 to start the year, I didn't shy away from here. -EK

LAST SEASON:

LMAO, as a Phins fan- but also a realist- I agree.

To clear up the "am I a Dolphin fan" point, I hate the Jets as a team, and have been a Fins fan for as long as I can remember watching football. I was born at Homestead, and they were my home team; always have been. I doubt every other person here can say that. When I was younger, I lived and died watching Marino and the Marks brothers, but as I got older, I did realize that it's OK to be more objective and less fanatical. I just don't get fans of teams who see them have a losing season year after year after year and still believe that there's a winning, talented product on the field. A reality check is in order for them.

The Panthers bandwagon is -----> that way.  You do not get to brag about your new favorite team to the fans of your former "lifelong favorite team."

P.S. When CAR was 1-2 (they didn't start 0-3, which you should already know) and MIA was 3-0, you most certainly did "shy away from here."  Except for some post-Week 1 Wallace bashing, you were virtually invisible until the Dolphins got their first loss.

Fair enough. If pressed, I tend to agree with you, which is why all this, "Miami improved this year and our middle of the road QB is going to be a Rockstar" talk is nonsense to me.

On the other hand, Miami is guaranteed to celebrate dick. At least Carolina will have some opportunity. -EK

"Except for..." As in the "except for the 20 some posts in the Wallace thread?"

And the additional 20 or so posts in other threads before Miami lost in week 4.

So 40 or so posts in three weeks is "virtually invisible." Got it. Seems like since you spent the afternoon dredging my old posts up, you may have noticed all of those.

Re. "Shying a away," my definition of invisible is more like when I told the board- and you in particular- that Tampa would break its winless streak against Miami and you said exactly zip when it happened. Nothing. You went AWOL on the topic of all things TB in regards to me. That, sir, is invisible.

*except Miami, who will apparently be the first team to lose to the 0-8 Buccaneers

Hear me now; believe me later. -EK

As much as his trolling is a pain in the ass, you need to act like an adult and don't respond to him.  He does it to get a reaction from you.  By going off like you do, you're giving him what he wants.

Yes, the "20 some posts" where you completely dismissed the Miami win and instead focused on the fact that Wallace didn't rack up any stats.

MIA's season started on 9/8 and the Dolphins had their first loss on 9/30.

Yes, you made a bunch of posts on 9/10-12 praising Reggie Bush or bashing Mike Wallace, and some political posts on the Off-Topic forum on 9/13.   But from 9/14-9/29 you made a total of ZERO posts to this forum.  Complete and total radio silence.  So, yeah.

Well, I did just dredge this one up:

I've NEVER claimed I was a Dolphins fan. Find a post that indicates I am. I follow them because I grew up on them in the Marino years because I was born at Homestead and that's what everyone there did. I stopped being a diehard right about the time JJ screwed the team, trying to turn it into a run-first team and having to then rely on Dan to bail them out repeatedly. You guys all presumed I lived and died with Miami's success and failures. Pappy and I discussed this in PM a long time ago- I'm sorry you guys feel like you've been misled, but I haven't been a "fan" of Miami in decades.
So basically, in 2012 you were a lifelong Miami fan that could not remember ever rooting for another team, but in 2013 you were a Carolina Panthers fan since their inception and you stopped liking the Dolphins "decades ago."  Right.

So the 40 or so posts I made during the 9/1-9/30 span don't count because they weren't between your given parameters? Either I disappear after all their wins or I don't. Given they started 3-0 and I missed a whopping two weeks of posting, that would make you wrong.

The same way you were wrong about TB and STILL won't address that. Nice to see your true colors. What kind of person who is suppose to be such a fan of his team anyway spends all day researching posts of other members here when their team is getting beat like a drum? Too difficult to watch? Little on the obsessive, weird side don't you think? -EK

The "whopping two weeks of posting" were precisely when CAR was losing and MIA was winning.  This would not be as noticeable if it were not for your PROLIFIC posting frequency after Miami started losing.  In fact, the only times this entire season you have went more than 1 day without posting to this forum were:

- during MIA's first win streak
- during MIA's bye week
- after MIA beat SD
- during MIA's second win streak

Amazing coincidence, I know!

Are you seriously "taking me to task" about a single-game prediction?  Should we also discuss your prediction of a 32 point Dolphins loss for NE@MIA?  If you want to say something about MIA losing a game to TB, then say it.  I mean, it's not like I stopped posting to this forum for 2 weeks after MIA lost that game.

And while we're on the subject of true colors:  were you lying last year when you said you have been a Dolphins fan for as long as you can remember watching football, or were you lying this year when you said you've NEVER claimed to be a Dolphins fan, and have been a Panthers fan since (at least) 1999?  Just so the record is straight.

- the type of person who doesn't care for bandwagon fans who jump off from one team to another and then taunt people about their new team's success
- the type of person who doesn't lie about his change in allegiances
- the type of person who can read timestamps on posts and understands what time NFL games end
