As someone who has cheered for the same sports franchise in each of the different sports that I follow for my entire life, I've had some ups and downs. My 49ers gave me the ups, 5 different times, and let me enjoy guys like Montana, Rice, Lott, Young and other greats. My Suns have given me winning years, but no titles, while my Padres have just given me a chance to show my heart as a fan by steadfastly watching them lose every year.

My Arizona Wildcats have been another big "UP" in my lifetime. Under the leadership of Lute Olsen, I watched my 'Cats make the NCAA tournament a ridiculous 25 straight years, with the glorious title in '97 over Kentucky being the highlight.

Now, the 'Cats are back, led by a bright young coach named Sean Miller and a deep-deep roster that is arguably one of the best defensive teams in the country. Arizona's 20-0 start this year broke our all-time record for consecutive wins, and the 'Cats are definitely one of those teams that nobody will want to face when the Madness rolls around. They are definitely helping me deal with the utter depression of the 49ers losing in the NFC Title Game

Go 'Cats!!

I guess the "Sun" is shining in Arizona this year. As long as Arizona doesn't cost me my billion this year, we'll have no issues.  Wink
