Starting QBs are going to make money. Super Bowl winning QBs are going to make better money. Wilson is a smart kid. He isn't going to go running off to another team for a few more dollars. He has a perfect situation in Seattle.

The perfect situation is getting paid the most $$$$. Joe Flacco milked every dollar he could knowing it would hurt his own team and the team that would be around him....it was about getting paid. Even more so once you win a ring.

^^^That depends on your personal goals. Are the people who flock to the Heat thinking about money or championships? It does not seem money is their perfect situation. Flacco did hurt his team. Getting paid no matter what apparently was his perfect situation. Is that what Wilson wants to do? Only he can answer that question but I don't think he does.

To be fair, BAL intentionally put Flacco in a feast or famine situation by failing to offer him a new contract until his was over.  They gambled with his livelihood and he won, big time.  He deserved every dollar of that payout.

It's not your job as a player to make your market value fit the team's financial situation.  If you come to the table with a ring, management loses that bargaining chip.
