Minimal March anyone?

^ I don't but my mom does.  her's has 3 drawers on each side.  They are biased toward the foot of the bed so the nightstand won't block it unless its super large.  But hers also has a shelf unit type thing at the head of the bed which pushes the bed away from the wall.  This gives extra space for the first drawer to not be blocked.  She doesn't have a box-spring though, because the drawers take up where the boxspring would be.  Its a platform bed.

Ideally, I'd like the footboard to be a bit higher, but it's pretty good this way.

^^ That's really nice but you would probably have to keep the nightstand about a foot away from the bed if you want to be able to use those drawers...

^Yeah, I think you're right.

I bought the set yesterday.  It was a big purchase, sight unseen, but I think it's right for me.  I also have room to keep the nightstand moved over.

It allows me to get rid of a chest of drawers in my room and make a little extra room.
