In 2 years they will be in salary cap hell. But Peyton will be gone by then and they will be in a total rebuild anyway. They got 2 years to win a Super Bowl. That's there window. Then it will become very ugly salary cap wise
Exactly the idea. They are mortgaging the future to win now because they know once Peyton hangs it up they will have to gut the team.

why? He is probably a step down from Decker.
Smith has things thst don't show up on a stat sheet. He has heart & toughness. You can't teach that. Denver lacked that last season. He adds that. If given the choice between Decker and Smith, I would take Smith.

Yep. It's over contract issues and him re-doing his deal which he isn't happy about. Many think if he gets his release he will go straight to the Jets or Dolphins. He is a South Florida guy
