Can't hurt to see what Tampa is looking for. I know he has a high salary this year, but I would be lying if I understood the NFL pay vs. salary cap structure. If Tampa asked for a 2nd rounder and his salary didn't hurt us, would you do it?

He gets $16 mill (real money and cap wise) every year for the next 5 or 6 years. NO Guaranteed money. Contract is cut and dry and as simple as simple can get.

I'm sure the Patsies would like him, but there is no way they would pay him anything close to $16 mil.  Top dollar for him is probably in the $10-$12 mil range.

Revis might take a discounted rate to play for the hooded one, particularly since that puts him back in the Jets' division.

Browns might pull the trigger on a trade for him. Rumors are out there Pettine wants him in Cleveland. Next 2.5 hours will be interesting

I don't see any player "wanting" to go to Cleveland, except for the money.

Revis has no say in where he goes if its via trade. As long as the Browns pick up the contract and pay him it....Revis has no say

P.S....Revis has ALWAYS been all about the money and doesn't hide from it or say otherwise. He's open about it at least

Mevis doesn't give discounts, and the hooded one doesn't pay premiums.  I don't see him in NE.

This was Revis' first year being on a pathetically bad team with no hope to compete.

He was spoiled by the Jets' playoff runs early in his career.  At some point, he's going to want to play for a team that can contend, instead of simply trying to maximize his income.

Definitely don't want to see NE add a DB of Revis' quality...

I would love to see NE get a DB of Mevis' quality, but not his price tag.

Its a 5th round pick. You re-work his deal and bring the cap number down by giving him some guaranteed money over the life of the deal which I am sure he would do to get to NE.
