Yeah, baby...who better than TMZ for the most credible sports news and information.

 Roll Eyes  Roll Eyes

and  Roll Eyes  Roll Eyes for emphasis.

USA Today has backed up the story. Make ya feel better

http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/niners/2014/04/10/colin-kaepernick-investigation/7550297/

Miami Police Department public information officer Rene Pimentel told USA TODAY Sports earlier Thursday the investigation was for sexual assault but made a clarification saying the investigation being conducted by the Special Victims Unit is for an allegation.

Unsupported accusations from money-hunting sluts doesn't make me feel good or bad...they just make me laugh.

You starting a thread to trumpet the aforementioned unsupported accusation simply causes me to shake my head while laughing.

CBS is now carrying the story, as well.

wow...talk about someone being a little sensitive about their favorite NFL QB!! You probably thought Daren Sharper's victims were "money hungry sluts" too.

Nobody said he was guilty but the story is out there and the investigation is very real. For his sake (and the NFL's) I hope he and the other players are innocent. But ya never know!

So remembers that he wanted to have sex with her, she got undressed, and waited there naked, when he said he would be right back. Then she is told to leave the apartment( while not having sex), and only then remembers waking up in a hospital room. Of course this is after she made the drinks.
This is sounding a bit weird.

There was no sexual assault. There wasn't any in the hotel room and there wasn't any mention of any sexual assault in the official police report.

"TMZ.com reported earlier Thursday that Kaepernick is being investigated for an alleged sexual assault, citing law enforcement sources. Miami Police Department public information officer Rene Pimentel later told the Mercury News that the website "took the report out of context."

Kaep and this woman went into a room to have sex, got naked, but didn't have sex. Kaepernick left the room. A little bit later, Quinton Patton and Lockette supposedly opened the door to "take a peek."

I'm wondering where, outside the realm of overactive imagination, does anything that Kaep did come anywhere near sexual assault?  The answer, of course, is that it doesn't. There was only a suspicious incident report because this money or publicity-grubbing wench woke up after partying too hard and couldn't remember what happened.

Last post in this thread until anything new (and official, rather than TMZ tripe) comes to light...

There was no sexual assault.

How do you know where you there? Or just taking one side of the story as "fact" and ignoring the other?

They are doing the investigation for a reason and we will hopefully get the answers at the end of such investigation.  And calling the "victim" names really says alot about you. Why not just wait and see what happened when the facts come out before attacking a potential sexual assault victim. That's low-class on your end. IF she is what you say she is...fine. Call her names then. Until then she may be an innocent victim of a really bad crime and you should tone it down some.

It sounds very "Darren Sharper" like. I am hoping that isn't the case. We will see when all the facts come out. Also the "marijuana" use mentioned in the story could be something the league looks into and gets the players in Stage 1 of the substance abuse program. Or if they are already in it (names aren't released for Stage 1) then take them to Stage 2 where penalties might come down.

He has to keep some semblance of hope for next year and only knows one way to do it, haha.

I saw this on tv last night and it sounded like the ultimate overblown non-story ever.  No charges have been filed, nothing.  Just a drugged woman's suspicion?

That's a non-story if there ever was one.

I think the story is more bad-judgment than there will be charges.

Colin Cowherd was talking about it this morning.  Don't get in a situation where you've got a woman with a bunch of dudes doing drugs in a hotel room where people are waking up and not knowing where they've been.  The stakes are too high.

Charges aren't filed till the investigation is complete. Also I heard this morning (not sure if true, just what I heard on TV) leaving a passed out drugged woman at a hospital (which supposedly this lady is claiming) is against the law. So, IF TRUE if these players did that they might be in hot water there.

After Big Ben and Daren Sharper ya can't just discount stuff when you hear of a "situation" like this. Theses players put themselves in horrible situations where only bad can come out of it. Can't feel sorry for any of them. I think what they will get the 3 players on (if anything) is the drugs and drug use alleged in the complaint. That is easy to prove (and if they did it) and that will put them in Stage One of the substance abuse program. Unless they are already in Stage One then those players are in some hot water.

For the NFL's sake I hope all 3 are innocent and they did nothing wrong. The league doesn't need another black eye. But we shall see.

The problem is her story. SHe made drinks and encouraged drug use. She remembers they wanted to have sex, and did not. She remembers she was told to leave the apartment by the owner.
Somehow this turned into her being drugged and assaulted? Do you see the huge holes that make the story seem somewhat unbelievable?
