Weigh in on your stuff.

Sox just sent Felix Doubront to Chicago (Cubs) for a PTBNL.

Felix was a stud in the post season last year.  Good lefty, nice pick up by the Cubbies.

David Price started today for Tampa, they won't be dealing him.  They are 4.5 out of the second wild card.  Lots of teams to jump, but they aren't out of it.

No other word on numerous other Sox players who will probably have new homes soon, including Lester and Lackey.  The implosion of the '13 WS team continues.

Heard lots of Lester to Baltimore rumors, but to trade to a rival isn't advised unless they pay a fortune.

I wish the Yankees correctly realized they were doomed and would start trading to rebuild. Amongst other things, this is where Boston has outclassed NY in recent years.

^^^The Yankees would never do that, especially in Jeter's final year.

No comments on the huge Lester/Cespedes trade?  Wow.

This is possibly the biggest trade I can remember.

Oakland is Boston West at this point:

Reddick, Moss, Crisp, Lester...

Christ.  Bean is ALL IN this year.  Lester and Samardzija?!  Crazy good.

FYI - Marlin fans - get ready for Cespedes.  He won't be wearing a Sox jersey long.  I promise the plan is to flip him to Florida, along with some very good prospects (Boston's system is loaded for bear) for Stanton.

i'd do it if i was either team .. stanton will not sign long term in florida .. that's a given .. getting a kings ransom for him is the only way to go ..

boston can sign stanton long term . .and he's a beast ..

so win win i say !

I heard that Boston got Allen Craig and Joe Kelly in the Lackey deal...

Apparently Boston is going to be selecting a random fan out of the stands each game to be the starting pitcher each night.  Should be fun...

Good thing I don't do this for a living any more.  David Price to the Tigers.

Kelly is a decent lower rotation guy, but I don't think Fenway will be his friend.  Look for Boston to make him a reliever to "hide" him.  He got away with a lot in St. Louis (more pitcher friendly).
