Watching the 49ers-Cowboys game yesterday, it seemed like there were an inordinate number of 49ers fans for a game played in Dallas. Photos released today seem to back that up...

I didn't think I could be happier than I already was after a victory over the hated Cowgirls, but observing the Red Sea of 49ers fans taking over AT&T Stadium made my smile just a little bit bigger. Grin

Maybe Dallas fans got the team colors confused?

Otherwise, those photos are embarrassing.

I've spent most of my life telling people that I cheer for two NFL teams. The 49ers...and whoever is playing against Dallas this week. To see all of those 49ers jerseys in the crowd gave me goosebumps.

I would've paid good money to have a hidden camera with audio in Jerry Jones' owner's box. He said he didn't notice all the red in the crowd, but you know that's a load of bullshit. You'd have to be colorblind not to see that.

I say it was more than half. I heard a lot of cheers for every Romo pick or Niner score. I would put it at 65% to be honest.

I'm on both of the main affiliated 49ers message boards, and I really didn't see any organized "let's everybody go to Dallas" conversation going on. No idea why there were so many fans on the road like that.

I'm still swooning a bit over Carlos Hyde. That guy is an absolute monster, and the perfect player to take the torch from Frank Gore after #21 hangs up those cleats. Sprinter's burst, bulldozer body, dancer's feet. By this time next season, he'll be considered one of the top RBs in football, imo, and has "special career" potential if he stays healthy.

They had to go to a silent count today at home.

What's going on?

The resale price of those tickets must be at quite a premium for so many opposing fans to be buying up Dallas tickets.
