Gave them a pass at Buffalo, but following the past few headlines and today's  embarrassing home loss...it's obvious the coaching staff has no plan or structure for our players, whether playing or not!

What a joke!  Philbin backs a drug addict rookie, yet throws Richie under the bus with that bullshit bully gate scandal!  REALLY?  Basically, our HC has never had a clue of what's going on in and outside the locker room.

Would be nice to see a totally new influx of football personnel and philosophy led by Dan Marino.  3 weeks Iin and we already see thE outcome of this LOST season.  Change is needed now..FIRE the coach and go from there...QB on...I don't care, but they need to do something or look forward to unsellable home games throughout the rest of the season!

Pathetic is all I can say....so fed up of the same old sorry performances year after year!

I agree that the team is really bad.  But LOLs at the idea of a head coach being fired after Week 3.

^^ This

The "fire everyone" crowd is exhausting.  I'm so eternally sick of reading people wanting to fire coaches and bench starters after every effing loss.

Teams lose games - it happens.  Raise your hand if you were expecting Miami to go 16-0 this season...

The NFL is changing.  Incognito had to go.  Jordan probably needs to go, too, but they are different problems.

This is the fault of the fanbase for buying into the bullcrap that this was going to be a great team.  This is a 7-9 win team.  Recognize that.  It's pretty much the same team as last year and you should expect similar results.

That said, let the season play out and then re-evaluate.

Another thread that belongs in the Anti-Fins forum.  Reminds me of a scene in the movie Enemy at the Gates,  "we should execute the Generals, and their families too, examples must be made"!!

What has Philbin ever done in his career?  Ride the coattails of Aaron Rodgers?  The guy sucks, yes the team isn't great, but 2plus years of this lost puppy is more than enough.  Find a winner, someone who's played and won in the NFL.  (Mr. Marino) comes to mind.  A respected player and one who would likely attract a management team that can finally stop the mediocre stigma that this team exudes.

False. Fundamentally disagree. Don Shula himself couldn't coach a team to the playoffs with turd players. Coaches need to learn and develop, especially those in their first head coaching job.  Hey, Jeff Fisher has been with the Rams for 2 years and never won more than 7 games.  They should FIRE HIM!  Clearly he sucks!

I'm not sure which is more laughable: your shortsightedness or the fact that you want Dan Marino to be his replacement.

I've got to go with the "Dan Marino as Head Coach" part. Having a recognizable name is about the only thing Marino has going for him.

Never said Marino as coach.  Saying we need respected people that can attract a good coach..etc

New GM and coach could probably make something of these "turds" you refer to as our team.  Shortsightedness maybe, the facts are no respect for that coach by his players...NONE!

False, again.

Until you are a player in that locker room, and you come here and give us the pulse of the players, assuming that no players have respect for their coach is just your language to enforce your point, and completely unfounded.

Sorry, but you're wrong.  The team, players, and coaching staff are NOT the ones panicking.  Only you and other fans like you are doing that.

Oh, and by the way, Marino already has a position with the team.  So what, then, were you inferring there?

^^^ Seems like some players are already wondering wtf is going on. Maybe not panic, but they don't seem calm about the entire situation.

This coach has shown no pulse for HIS locker room...NO CLUE!  Have you ever played sports?  Have you ever coached?  Soyunds like a BIG No for both questions.  i know marino has a position, one that seems to be more of a token position.  No authority.  Hickey and co. running the show.  HC protecting our STAR rookie, who's been suspended for more games than he's played in.

Until this franchise can attract TOP NOTCH coaching and managerial personnel, we will be that bad team.
