Oh, sure and firing a coach every 2 or 3 years until you find a winner is a sure-fire way to attract "top notch" coaching personnel, right?  I'm sure people will just be lined up at the front door to take a job knowing that they are not going to get the support of the fan base and if they don't win the Super Bowl this year, they will be instantly fired with no justification, just to appease the willy-nilly fan base.

That's what you want?

That's what you want?

One thing is for sure.  Trying to arrange a shotgun wedding between a coach and a GM is not the way to attract top notch personnel.  Keep in mind that Ross lost out on Jim Harbaugh and Jeff Fisher because he stubbornly refused to get rid of Jeff Ireland, and he lost out on Jason Licht and Nick Cesario because he stubbornly refused to get rid of Joe Philbin.  At least he's got both coach and GM on short deals.  Let's see if he gets it right this time.
