The league is all about matchups, which is why Buffalo lately will kill us at every turn.

Right now, we are on our 83rd string linebackers and our 1st string wasn't that good to begin with. This makes us vulnerable to the run and shitty QBs who just dink and dunk like Alex Smith and EJ Manuel. The Raiders have a rookie QB starting a game in another country. He won't be throwing bombs, he will be targeting his TE and Slot Receivers all game long and we are going to get eaten alive.

Not happy about it, just mentally preparing for it.

I think you're close but a bit off.  Just my opinion.

I think the Dolphins struggle against mobile QB's.  Both Alex Smith and EJ Manuel are pretty mobile in the pocket.  I don't think Derek Carr is that.  Maybe I'm wrong, but that's my impression after watching this week's game.

Darren McFadden doesn't scare me anymore.  MJD might, but he can't get on the field.

I just don't think Oakland has the strength to matchup like Buffalo did.  I, for one, expect to crush Oakland by 30.  But, I also expected to beat the Chiefs.

A far a linebackers go Jenkins has been playing well. He might not get replaced.

I hope not. He had 8 stops against the Chiefs in his 15 tackles, 1.5 sacks (including a safety).

He may be our best linebacker.

He is the fins best linebacker.  Who is going to replace him anyway? We have nobody really. Misi replaces Trusnick and I don't see Trusnick then replacing Jenkins. And McCain is raw and makes too many mistakes to give more snaps too and playing time

I'd like to see Trusnik replace Wheeler, although Wheeler wasn't awful against the Chiefs, but he will return to being awful soon enough.

I thought Derek Carr looked good against New England. Obviously, he's going to have some inaccurate throws, but for the most part I like his poise and mentally along with his physical skill set. I personally thought he was the best QB coming out in this draft. Not a fan of Manziel.

My analysis of Oakland:

They have scored 37 total points this season.  Compare that to their opponents' 65 points against
They have gained 763 yards this season, compared to 1026 yards allowed.
Their offense is ranked 32nd in the league.  Defense ranked 12th.
Derek Carr is throwing for under 200 yards per game on average, but has a 63% completion percentage
The Raiders defense gives up 159 rushing yards per game.

On paper, I feel like the Dolphins match up against the Raiders like the Bills did against the Dolphins.  Strong ground game and stout pass rush should leads to Dolphins winning this game handily.  If they don't, then we'll really start to see people panic.

Doesn't this belong in the Anti-Fins Forum?
