Colledge. He gave up 2 sacks and got benched. The o-line sucked in the first half because of him alone

What's the deal?

Apparently he was having migranes and they affected his play.  But I agree with this.  If you're in a position where something is hampering your ability to do your job, sit down and let someone else do it

Sounds about right, not speaking up and allowing your QB to get crushed should warrant a release. Not like he was a Pro Bowler anyway.

You can't fault a guy for trying to play through an illness.

Nothing wrong with trying to tough it out for your team UNLESS you are actually hurting your team and teammates with your poor play. Emmitt Smith grinding out a Week 17 win against the Giants with a separated shoulder is the prime example of sacrificing for your team. Colledge just hurt  Miami today and his teammates by keeping quiet, you can't do that no matter what his intentions were.

9 offensive plays at the end of the 1st half probably warrants that.  Grin

And the Dolphins had the lead and were winning Roll Eyes  A defensive TD will keep the offense on the sideline for a long time as the team with the ball keeps the ball and control of the clock. Who cares how many offensive snaps you had when you are winning! Once again, caught up in style points and just can't be happy with the lead or a win

I'd take every win I could get. Irrespective of how they won, they won. Who do you think is happier right now, Miami whose offense looked rough against a bottom feeder team but got the W or Carolina, who hung in tough until the last 50 seconds of the game against a Super Bowl team and ended up with an L? At the end of the season it doesn't matter who you played or how you played them- there's no BCS here. A win is a win, and a loss is a loss. I'd be happy if I was Miami, especially since they could realistically go 2-5 or worse in the next 7 games. They have a murderous schedule. Be glad you won.

I'd say CAR is happier right now, since (even with a sub-.500 record) they're still in sole possession of first place going into Week 9.

In any case, when you score twice on defense your time of possession takes a huge hit.  MIA won by two TDs on the road; I don't understand where all the angst is coming from.

The Dolphins had, if I remember correctly, 3 straight 3 and outs, if not more than that. That's horrible, and why our D was on the field for so long.

Uh...no. the Defense could have gotten a 3 and out themselves....plus we had a guard who was blocking nobody and letting people come in untouched.  Once they straightened that out the offense was fine. Miller Ave 5.6 YPC. Having a few bad series on offense isn't the end of the world.  Some of you people needd to chill

Hartline gets my shame. He looked like he couldn't catch a cold out there. I know his targets have been fewer this year but his concentration seems to be off when he is targeted.
