It is Dallas Thomas but Jarvis Landry gets an honorable mention for another botched special teams play. You can't fumble the ball there.

If Jason Fox can't start over Dallas Thomas then Jason Fox needs to consider another career because seriously, the NFL dream is over at this point. And Billy Turner who has been practicing at Right Tackle since Week 1 is inactive, it says a lot about him too that he is behind Fox and is inactive!

You could have said the same thing about Chris Hogan not beating out Legedu Naanee or Marlon Moore, but Hogan looks pretty good now.  Sometimes coaches are just dumb.

"The guy who dropped that interception" is Louis Delmas.

That was Ireland not the coach. Ireland had full control over the roster

For the record, I thought we should have kept Chris Hogan.  He was raw but you could see the talent was there.

My shame goes to Dallas Thomas also.  I'll pile on.  I feel like Landry redeemed himself after the fumble, same way Tannehill did.  Delmas needed to have that pick, what a huge play.

Dallas Thomas was bad, but not all of the sacks were his fault, especially the last one in which he actually did a decent job against Williams but Tannehill did not climb the pocket. Tannehill actually had pretty bad pocket awareness against the Bills.

I am pretty sure the coaches have a lot of input in regards to who makes the roster. In fact, I am pretty sure since they are the ones running practice and evaluating the players in practice moreso than the GM they have more input on who makes the final 53 than the GM does.

Not with Ireland. That was the hold-up and why no head coach wanted to come here or interview with Miami. Irleand was clinging to his clause in his contract that gave him final say and total power over the 53 man roster. No head coach (except for Philbin and McCoy) would put up with that. And that was documented you can google it if you don't believe me (which clearly you don't)

It is interesting then that so many players Ireland traded for or signed to big contracts before Philbin got here were jettisoned after Philbin got here. And they all were vocal or had character issues. We saw just how much say Philbin had on Hard Knocks.

So forget what I can find on Google and no I don't believe you. I saw it with my own eyes on Hard Knocks. The reason Brandon Marshall and Vontae Davis are gone is because that is what Philbin wanted.

A lot of the guys who left also had big contracts and were moved to create cap space. And a lot of those guys fell into that time-frame of when Parcells was here and had say in who was brought in and was Ireland the "true GM"....we will never know. But lot of gray area. What's NOT gray area is that guys like Gruden, Cower, Fisher, and the list goes on and on refused to work with Irleand because Jeff wouldn't give up control and final say over the roster. Not debatable. That is a fact.

FYI...Ross is the guy who forced Marshall out as he stepped in and made that call.
