Just a fifth rounder?

This team is going down the drain really fast

And a bunch of cap space which will let them Keep Clay and add more quality players. Fins now have $13.8 mill in cap space

Given what they just did with Suh, I just don't have that much confidence.

Can they keep some of it to pay the refs to call the games fairly when they play the Patriots?

Are you saying that trading Wallace added $13.8 million to their current cap space or that trading Wallace raised their current cap space to $13.8 million

Raised their current cap space. Plus, it got rid of an underachieving asshole.

The further we get away from Ireland, the better.

This team has dramatically improved over the past week and you STILL find a reason to whine? I'm really starting to look at you as one of those people who just aren't happy unless they're unhappy.

This is the net gain from dealing Wallace. Sure, you can probably get a decent player with that 5th round pick, but what Miami really did was get rid of a player they really didn't want on the roster, while giving them more cap space to sign players they DO want on the roster.

I'd rather have Wallace than Clay, but that's just me.

This is incorrect.

First off, how has this team dramatically improved?  They got rid of one asshole, only to bring in another at a much higher price.

They keep signing big time players and they never work, yet they keep doing it

Here's what the offseason has looked like:

1) Extend a coach who is the biggest idiot I've ever seen coach this team
2) Chew up a ton of cap space on a head case
3) Get rid of their best receiver

I will be happy when this team makes the playoffs.  I don't know if you threaddig, but if you look back in 2008, I was the happiest person on this board when they won the division.

And you'll notice how happy I get when the team does win.

Who? Who is the asshole they brought in? They brought in all high character guys. If you are talking about Suh he is only an asshole ON the field. Off the field he is a choir boy

The fact that Dolphins4Life doesn't like the trade is all the proof I need that this is a great trade for the Fins.  I would have traded Wallace's no-effort ass for a half eaten churro and a case of the clap. Goodbye jackass, helllo capspace.

Well the odds that Parker and Clay happens are slim as well.
