Do any of you watch this show?

I think it is quite literally the best comedy in the history of television.  So, so, so smart.  I'm watching it over for a 4th or 5th time and I'm still finding hidden jokes.  So ahead of its time.  It's all on Netflix.  I highly recommend everyone on here to at least give it a shot.  It continues to build on itself and get funnier and funnier throughout.

And word on the street is that they're coming back for a 5th season.

Have you seen it?  If not what's keeping you away?  And if you do watch it, what characters or running gags are your favorites?

I watched a couple of episodes a few years ago, but just couldn't really get into it. That said, I really have gotten away from sitcoms the last 15-20 years, and even stayed away from the "big hit" comedies like Friends, Seinfeld and others. I like good dramas with "a little bit" of comedy built in, rather than a show that seems like every line is designed to get a laugh.

Just finished rewatching season 1-3. It is hilarious. The 4 th season is ok. I love how everything comes together. The whole cast is great.

Stroke, did you watch the first few episodes or just a few randoms?

The show doesn't work if you just pick up in the middle -- perhaps why it didn't make it on network TV.  It builds its jokes in layers over years.

^^^ I watched it from the beginning, streaming on Solar. I actually think I got through the first 3 episodes, and it was funny enough, but I had so much other stuff I was watching that I just sort of lost interest.

Arrested Development is simply the best TV comedy of the 21st century.

I've never watched it. I think this is the third time over the years that we have had a thread about it but I just haven't tried to watch it. I've got so many other things on the plate that I have not found the time.

Fantastic show...tried to watch it when Netflix brought it back, but couldn't get into the newer season.

The new season is so good, but you have to watch it differently.  The first 4 or so episodes are all setup.  It's really a genius display of content.  They don't play out as episodes, but as one, long, 15 hour episode.  So good.

I've watched it .. and it's OK .. i find myself laughing more at other comedies on TV.

I guess i'm a comedy snob.

I find Archer to be hilarious. But recently, i've never laughed as hard as i have from watching New Girl.

New girl is a very funny show.  A lot of awkward comedy.

Archer is the only comedy that I watch semi-regularly. The ultimate in raunchy adult animation.

I've been wanting to watch it due to commentary like you see here, but I haven't had time, really.  I have a list of tv series which I have missed out on, including this, Breaking Bad, and Walking Dead.  I don't know if its worth rewinding life, or just moving on knowing I've missed out.
