Fins CEO is now stating this morning they requested many road games early in the year.

Not sure I buy it but that is their spin
They probably did  ... just like how Ross had requested later games early on. They refuse to use the home field heat as an advantage.

I do agree with you about the O-line. I really can't see how they let it go another freaking year without a major upgrade. The odds of Tannehill getting taken out for a good while continues to go up every time he gets hit.

It makes no sense for them to say they requested road games so construction work can get done. Easy to poke holes in that and exposes that lie ..
a) They have a home game Week 3, so the stadium is ok for a home game Week 3 but not weeks 4-10?
b) The Miami Hurricanes will play multiple home games during Sep and October at the stadium. So the stadium is ok to use on Sat but not Sunday during this time-span?

Either the stadium can be used or it can't. This spin the Fins came out with this morning is laughable. Sometimes they can't get out of their own way.

Another reason why Ross is an embarrassment to the fans and the league

I don't blame Ross. Because I don't believe he asked for this. I think that is the spin they are saying this morning to make it seem like they are OK with this. To me they shouldn't have said anything (again Ross didn't say anything the CEO did)....so I don't blame Ross

Jeez, I can't believe anybody is bitchin about this schedule.  This is a fantastic schedule for the Dolphins.  Finish with 4 of 5 games at home, with the road game being at San Diego.  I'd rather play the tough teams at home at the end of the season rather than at the beginning (better chance they are missing players due to injuries or playing soft because they have a spot locked up).  The only bad item on the whole schedule is playing @ NE on a short week, but hell that would probably be a loss 85% of the time anyway so who cares.  The early season games against weaker teams gives them a chance to build up some momentum.

After looking at the schedule more closely, I could see MIA being anywhere from a 14 (yes FOURTEEN) wins all the way down to 8 wins.  That is a large margin.  This is how I plan our wins and losses going...

AT REDSKINS - WIN

AT JAGUARS - WIN

BILLS - WIN

JETS - WIN

BYE WEEK

A TTITANS - WIN

TEXANS - WIN

AT PATRIOTS - LOSS

AT BILLS - LOSS

AT EAGLES - WIN/LOSS

COWBOYS - WIN/LOSS

AT JETS - WIN/LOSS

RAVENS - WIN/LOSS

GIANTS - WIN

AT CHARGERS - WIN

COLTS - WIN/LOSS

PATRIOTS - WIN/LOSS

There's a 3rd side of me that I don't like to talk about.  Don't ask questions.  Evil
Does it only come out when you are under stress or on the witness stand?

Miami could easily have been a 11-12 win each of the last two seasons.

It's about pulling out those close games, something they haven't been able to do.

Heck, even 2012 could have been a playoff season.
