Dion Jordan will go down as one of the worst picks this organization ever made.   ...couldn't stop doing drugs, and when he was, he couldn't get in the game.

We blamed the coaches for a while for not using him, but it's pretty clear the guy wasn't getting it done.

Dion is a loser. But the coaches did use him wrong the entire time he was here. Not making excuses for him, as he is a druggie loser, but Coyle should have just put him at OLB which he is was a better fit for

ESPN is reporting that the Dolphins have known about this for a while and it will not alter their current draft plans

One of the worst draft picks by Miami ever!!  I couldn't understand why they picked him when they did, as the position wasn't the highest need at the time.  Followed by the fact he was injured when they drafted him, and his school schedule was going to be a problem.  Now the continued failed drug tests.  What a waste. Sad

^^ Bingo.

It was a head-scratcher at the time, but you couldn't argue with the value for the trade-up.  However, you hoped you got a premiere athletic talent and they could squeeze him in.

In the end, he has thrown his life away, and has no one to blame but himself.

Great work by Jeff Ireland.  He sure did have a stiffy for DEs.  Drafted like 42 in his time here?

But, if they did, how could they trade him to Philly? That seems illegal within NFL rules.

Valid point. Makes me think ESPN is reporting BS on this. I have a feeling the Fins were blindsided by this today

For our sake, I hope we were. If there is proof, whether it be emails or texts that we knew and traded him anyway, we can lose draft picks.

Well at least he'll be a nice addition to the Ring of Dishonor.  In fact, he and Jeff Ireland should be enrolled jointly.

Maybe they knew about the failed drug test but didn't know if he had decided to appeal or not.  I don't see why a diluted test because he drank too much water would be a cause for suspension.  Why not just have him retest and make that test count?

Or maybe they knew he had a continuing drug problem but were trying to trading him before he failed another test.  That would be somewhat shady but not illegal.

Or maybe they were trying to trade him for a 7th round pick having disclosed to the Eagles that he had failed a test.

Because you have to drink more than any normal person would. Excessive drinking of water is no different than using a masking agent and many times they are used together.

Not really. A half a gallon 2 hours before followed up by 16 ounces after urinating 3-4 times can dillute a urine test significantly.

So in your world 80 fluid ounces of water in a two hour period is normal drinking?
